Leonards_Losers 12 Report Share Posted August 25, 2010 The Funniest PIGSKIN pickin’ is back. I hope you all had a fine summer because fall is almost here. This Friday the 2010 season begins. For some teams it’s back to business and for other teams it’s their last OOoorah. Delmar and Todd Darrell think it could be Clintwood’s year. I myself feel that we could have some sleepers this year in a couple of Districts. With that said Good luck to all the teams and coach’s and let the pickin’ begin. Richlands @ Gate City Uncle Lonnie sold all of his scrap metal this summer to pay for the trip to Legion Field this Friday night. This could be a good one; Coach Mance says his defense attacks like a Blue-Jay on a June Bug. The Big Blues have the best player in Southwest Virginia or Southern West Virginia. (It’s according to where he is playing at). The Blue Devils have a solid core of players and home field advantage. Coach Davis always said “you can’t tackle what you can’t catchâ€. Lil-Leonards Loser ---Gate City RiverView @ Mount View Raiders versus the Knights for the Mack-Dowell County Title. Leon Gravey and company have been trying to whip-up a return to glory for the Welch Warriors. Meanwhile Mitch Ester is trying to turn the Owl-Cubs into Raiders. A Big Night in Southern WV may come down to who is in shape. Uncle Darrell Clyde is in Good shape, sort of like a pear. He can’t wait for the first hit and the first bit of the 2 for 1 hotdog special at the concession stand. Lil-Leonards Loser --- Mt. View Castlewood vs. Appalachia Castlewood will make history Friday night. The Blue Devils will be playing the last opening game at the Appalachia Dog Pound. Coach Scammell has been grinding his pitchfork all summer long trying to put some “ouch†back in his Defense. Both teams are much improved from last season. However, the Bulldogs backfield doesn’t lie on the porch and chew on their bones. C-WOOD better bring the Russell County Humane Society to try to slow the big dogs down. Lil-Leonards_Losers – C-WOOD Clintwood @ Coebern THIS Friday Nite the “Big Green Tidal Wave†will roll down GEORGE’S FORK leaving a path of TOTAL DESTRUCTION in their quest for another playoff year. Now while the BLUE HEAVY METAL CREW is one of the favorites to win “The Tobacco Districtâ€, they’ll find out real quick that no Dam, Sandbags, or “Head Banging†will slow down this Green Tidal Wave. Look for the WAVE to run through or “Air Meade†over any type of BLUE FORTIFICATIONS they encounter. Lil_Leonard’s Loser – Coebern Lee @ Powell Valley The Lee Generals will launch their 2010 campaign up the “POWELL VALLEY†to try and subdue a bunch of pesky Vikings. The Vikings have raided, pillaged and plundered the LEE TERRIOTROY successfully for several years. ADMIRAL Phil Robbins has already announced that this is his last year at the Vikings helm. The GENERALS will be out for a final payback for Admiral Phil, but the Carolina Blue Vikes will mount a strong counterattack and save the day for their admiral. Lil_Leonard’s Loser – LEE Bluefield vs. Graham DA DA DUN DA DA DUNT…... He could go all the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Delmar has already bought a 6 pack and a bag of Cheese Puffs for his Friday night edition of Sportscenter. Check out the Beavers on the top 10 plays of ESPN this Friday night.
