G22man 10 Report Share Posted February 21, 2011 No last year there was 7. Martinsville, Graham, Cave spring, Richlands, Grundy, Marion, and Patrick County. I have no clue why there is only 5 this year. Maybe because our region is so weak they dont want terrible teams to have a chance to get to the state tournament. evophoto 10 Report Share Posted February 22, 2011 I can see why he'd be confused... I'm not sure anyone knows. The VHSL has nothing about it on their site. I also see some folks get one win and they are in the state playoffs and some must win 2. Very strange. I would think the VHSL would have a bracket on their site for all the regions.
