I've been looking for a Fries helmet for over a year and never once thought to check YouTube. Secondly, it appears that only a few of the helmets had what I assume is a tiger paw (much like the old Haysi helmets) and the ones that did have it only had it on one side. As much as I can remember, the paw started out on both sides of every helmet but with budget cuts and lack of funding and eventually the closing of the school, they stopped replacing them when damaged. I cant remember when exactly the helmet changed to the one in the video but it may have been 1984ish but they used to be red wit the paw on both sides and a single black stripe down the middle. The same thing happened at Haysi, originally both sides then right only and finally only 5-6 helmets had paws(during my jr year we did our best to tear all the old paws off, only the ones that werent used that season survived). Now we have a new logo, I dont like it but its better than the paw(seems like every tiger team uses paws) and at least they all match!
