IF Haysi and Central Lunenburg were to win, CL would have to travel 410 miles.  Talk about a road trip!  Full blown tour of VA!  They would literally travel thru all of VAs regions.  I cant even begin to think about how they would plan that trip out.  I guess travel to Wytheville on Friday and then come the rest of the way on Saturday?

After rethinking it I think you're right coR.

I would stay in Grundy.

Get up around 8:45-9:00, walk to Huddle House for breakfast, finish breakfast at around 10, leave for Haysi at around 10:30, arrive at around 11:20. Games at 2.  That would time up pretty well.

as a matter of fact I think that's how I would do it if I was any of the East teams.  Altavista is the closest possible potential team and that's a 4.5 hour drive in a car.

I would encourage any East team to stay in Grundy. And be sure to eat a BIG breakfast and drink plenty of OJ lol  83 is a wonderful, straight easy ride
