FINAL: Martinsville 88, Floyd Co 56. Devonnte Holland had 27 pts and Aaron Martin had 16 for the Bulldogs.

 

Martinsville will play the Conference 38 finals tomorrow at home at 7:45 against the winners of Glenvar and James River

At the half in 2A girls first round: Wilson Memorial 37, Strasburg 10. Hornets were outrebounded 27-14, but still up by 27.


 




Why is Wilson winning despite getting outrebounded by 13? They have a 23-5 advantage in turnovers and held the Rams to 4-of-23 shooting.

Graham's Dejah Carter was held scoreless in first half. Does have eight rebounds and a block. Karrah Large has other two points for G-Girls.


 




Hayley Bryant led Virginia High with five points, but she also had three first half fouls. Graham hampered by 13 turnovers.
