1inStripes 933 Report Share Posted August 19, 2016 I think everyone is more concerned about the plays in space. Its a reason why rules have shifted in the game to protect against those actions. That said, these types of protective gear just dont do anything to help those types of contact really. redtiger
1inStripes 933 Report Share Posted August 19, 2016 Red tiger, What you said makes sense to me.. I was wondering what the cost of the helmet pads were? Would you know, or anyone else know How much per helmet they would be for a school? Schools may be getting a special price depending on amount purchased and etc but they can be found around $60 online.
Falcon Mania 235 Report Share Posted August 19, 2016 I'm sure years ago when some of us played this game, Oklahoma drill, Bull in the Ring, and 2-3 hours of full contact practice was the norm. That is not the case these days. Teams are only allotted 30 minutes per week for full contact. Even then most teams don't allow there DB's, LB's and other skill players to execute game speed tackling and hitting like in the past.
