Beamerball 566 Report Share Posted November 23, 2016 The theme of a certain game a couple of years back that was tirelessly run into the ground. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/highschool/ct-fenwick-football-lawsuit-met-20161122-story.html
sup_rbeast 296 Report Share Posted November 25, 2016 That'll be thrown out. The outcomes of sporting events should mot be in court...besides wasting taxpayer money, every controversial ending to a game would end up in court if they allow this one. Every team has had to endure an ending to a game where they feel they have been ripped off. It's part of it. If a coach, player, or fan can't let go of it, it says far more about that person than a missed call says about an official. We have had local teams get ripped off in games with much higher stakes (JI Burton in the State Finals) than the regular season game at the park that Lee fans still whine about, and we don't hear those fans on here still crying over spilt milk. If JIB can let go of that (and I witnessed that, it was straight BS and it happened late and cost them that game), ain't no reason other teams and fans can't let go of the outcome of a measly regular season game.
