Hokie1Pokie 350 Report Share Posted September 14, 2019 So proud of this bunch. This is a great win for this program. There's one dude who was just talking straight up filth about the Green Wave and what Chilhowie would do to them in the week. There's no question, somebody over in Narrows traveled over to 81 and stole that dude's girl sometime along the way, tic. On a serious note, great win for Narrows. Hats off to the coaches, players, and fans. I'm riding the Green Wave for sure this year (but only figuratively, as Green Water In Lakes and Oceans contains a deadly cyanobacteria linked to ALS and other neurodegenerative illnesses). Congrats Narrows on a great win! Optimal62, SW_VA_boy and That_guy
SW_VA_boy 492 Report Share Posted September 14, 2019 Big win for sure. Hope the boys can keep the mo rolling next week. It should be a great game in Pearisburg.
1_hsfootballfan 1 Report Share Posted September 14, 2019 I really didn't expect the narrows defense to play as well as they did against a high powered offense
SW_VA_boy 492 Report Share Posted September 14, 2019 The size and strength on the line overwhelmed their O for most of 3 quarters. Once the bigs for Narrows started getting gassed, they were pretty even.

SW_VA_boy 492 Report Share Posted September 14, 2019 Don't know the stat on week 1 vs. Auburn but the last 2 weeks, Narrows has allowed 29 yards rushing. If they only allow 4 times that next week in Pearisburg, I'll take my chances.
