SW_VA_boy 492 Author Report Share Posted March 30, 2021 Given how this season has been with the virus and small rosters with injuries causing game to not be played, this is what you end up with. Narrows was given the option to try and pick up another game to replace Covington with or take the forfeit as far as I know. No idea if they considered trying to just reschedule the game but who knows. Im guessing there was a period of time where it was debated on what to do and a week plus later, the decision was made to do what they've done this week. Long winded way of saying you'll have that. Having 1 player contract COVID would ruin a team’s season, particularly if the forfeit is to a team that would rightly be favored.
