What does it tell us that they picked McClung when they could have picked perhaps 10 other top G League players? That tells me McClung is practicing very well. The coaches obviously feel he has a high ceiling and not only can compete, but it obviously competing. It's a very good sign for Mac's future that he got picked for another 10 day contract, and I can't be sure, but I'm guessing it speaks to how well he's doing in practice against the 1's for the Bulls.
