Haysi's Jay Hackney was a tire changer for Penske on the #2 Miller Lite car for a very long time.  Not sure if he's still active or not though.

Darian Grubb is from Floyd. I played a variety of sports against him growing up. He's been in NASCAR since 2003. He has been crew chief for Casey Mears, Jimmie Johnson, Tony Stewart, Carl Edwards, Denny Hamlin, and William Byron. He has won several championships with various drivers as crew chief and won the Daytona 500 as crew chief for Jimmie Johnson.

He is currently the Director of Performance for Chip Gannasi Racing.

CGR isn't a thing anymore. They sold to Justin Marks who now has Trackhouse Racing. He's the DoP for Trackhouse and is actually back crew chiefing from time to time. He was actually on the box last year when Shane van Gisbergen won his first career Cup start at the Chicago Street Circuit.
