We don't have much speed this year,we don't have anybody like Jose running for us, and we don't throw the ball well either so this Friday could be a long night for us. Not much size on the "D" side of the ball for us either so those big "Hogs" of yours should have a field day. I was very impressed with your line play on both sides of the ball. We have a bunch of players with decent speed, but they all like to hit. they are hitting harder in practice lately then they have hit all year, must be the weather. PS. Not trying to psych anyone out just stating my opinion and obviously others also. I've seen 44-7,38-15, 35-21 predictions so everyone must think that Richlands is going to lay the "smackdown" on MV, so I'm not in the minority on that opinion. But one thing to old school blue, I don't think the Warriors will be scared and stay in the "Hole", after trips to Franklin Co., to GW-Danville and to Petersburg(with police escort into and also out of town.....boy that was an experience!) [/ QUOTE ] I lived in Richmond for over 12 years and have been to Petersburg many times. A friend of mine is even on the police force there. Having an escort was not an un-wise decision. The Richmond/Petersburg area isn't all bad by any means but there are places you don't want to go. I myself was robbed and car jacked at gunpoint when I worked for Pizza Hut in a middle class area of Chesterfield County. A friend was at a stop light in downtown Richmond one night with his girlfriend and some of his buddies (who were in the back of his truck) when a large grouip of people came out of nowhere and started banging on his windows...he hit the gas and took off but they shot at him hitting one of his friends in the leg. Another friend was beaten really bad by a group of punks when he worked for Dominos. When he came back to work after a couple weeks he made a delivery to a different apartment complex and saw the same crowd coming towards his car...this time he hit the gas and mowed them over. pdman 10 Report Share Posted November 19, 2004 Well the Warriors are coming too! Left school awhile ago, only bringing 18 players or thereabouts. All the rest had to stay home because their moms kept reading about Tornado warnings and wouldn't let them come. Moms can be overprotective can't they?? We ain't got much, but we're coming with what we've got. Everyone have a safe trip to the game you are attending!!.... Here's an update, just got a call from a player for MV. Their bus is broke down. Seriously! They left school at 12:30 got 2 miles from school and had to turn around and go back. As of 1:30 they are still sitting at Magna Vista. Hope they can make it to Richlands by 7:30 as the 2nd bus has to come either out of Roanoke or Danville. Is this a bad omen or what, and in all seriousness this is not a joke!!
