Tid_Bit 10 Report Share Posted November 19, 2004 without a doubt. Tazewell/Graham is the most interesting of all the games. Tazewell won 4 of their last 5 and I believe Graham lost 4 of their last 5. Graham pretty much quit toward the end of the season. That being said....how will Tazewell's players react to playoff football? Will they be psyched up or intimidated? Will Graham be looking forward to basketball season or will some of the old warriors(Remines, bovenizer, Elswick, and the QB) show up and bring the rest up to their level? Who knows....I believe Tazewell is the best team,but Graham has alot of heart and playoff experience on the other side. Will be very interesting to see how this plays out! Lance 228 Report Share Posted November 19, 2004 there are no more pillow fights left...the weak teams that did make it face legit contenders...but the 2 vs. 3 matchups are all pretty heavy hitters. Â Tazewell is perhaps the most physical team Grundy played all year...Graham has the talent to win...but they have to play physical...they know what to expect this time...should be the most interesting matchup of the week. Â Grundy is playing on a messy field...that evens them out a lot with Va High and Grundy is usually slow to start coming of an off week...it's also hard to beat any team twice in the same year...which Grundy must do two weeks in a row if they are to make it out of the region...combine those 3 things and the Grundy vs Va High match up could be interesting to watch. Grundy is a much better team, while the conditions will slow them down a step the comments on WCYB has pissed them off. I look for the Defense to dominate Va High. A bomb, and 3 fumbles in the 4th that let you escape with a win in a game that you were beaten by Virginia High. Now you all want to make excuses for why it might be close because you could never admit that we are a good football team. Â I got news. It will be close. And not because of the field or your week off or ya'll just playin' bad. We are capable of beating Grundy tonite with their best shot. Now bring it and don't make excuses for your early start to basketball season. Â That field hurts us 10 times worse than it hurts Grundy. If it hurts you so much, quit using it as an excuse and change the venue. We are faster than Grundy across the board and the mud just slows us down. We would LOVE to get you on a dry field. Â We hope you are all pissed off. That way you can't claim the "overlooked" excuse. We'll be there to show you a thing or two about being the "much better team" in 10 hours and 15 minutes.
