Actually there are 3 players on the Tazewell squad that cheerleads. And i'm pretty sure that somebody out there has gotten run over by our "sissys" so maybe you should think what you say before you put your own team down.

no. we play as a unit. we have no "best player" we have play makers that make plays in big games. Personally, i think that if the boys want to cheerlead, then they should. i mean you go through highschool one time. These guys take football very serious and they work very hard on both sports and are very good athletes at both of em.

ah this is just more low class crap from Va high...they use these guys for cheerleading competitions because they are strong and athletic...they don't stand on the sidelines with pom pom's on Friday night or anything like that...and if you called any of them a sissy to their face they would probably kick your teeth out...they are just helping out their schools by providing some muscle power...don't give them crap over it.

For once Lance, we are in total agreement. You can't criticize these young athletes for displaying school spirit! I think it's pretty lame to even mention this in a negative light.

you have no idea as to what cheerleaders go through... they put in just as much time as BOTH the football and basketball teams combined, and have just as many injuries. until you've done it yourself, you can't call 'em sissy. it takes more of a man to put themselves out there like that then for one to sit here and call them sissy. it shows that they are completely comfortable with themselves and their manhood... and that being a cheerleader isn't going to change it. that's a pretty big thing for a high school kid.

you're all closed-minded homophobic putzes. people like you are the reason why this area is a joke to the rest of the state. this thread has nothing to do with football and everything to do with why you have no good reason to be alive.

THAT WAS REALLY HARSH. 2 OR THE 3 GUYS ON THE TEAM ARE WITH SOMEONE! SO WHY DOES IT MATTER WHAT THEY DO. IF THEY ENJOY SUPPORTING THEIR TEAM AND SCHOOL WHY SHOULD IT MATTER TO ANYONE ELSE. UP HERE MOST PEOPLE LOOK UP TO THEM FOR THAT. THEY WORK A LOT HARDER THAN WHAT YOU PEOPLE THINK. ITS NOT THAT EASY! AND THEY ARENT PUSSIES.

Wilson is the only one that plays alot..he is not JR he is Justin..the other two boys Tinsley and McClain are mainly on special teams..but your crazy if you think that either of the 3 would miss a football game because of cheerleading

So what if they are cheerleaders? ...What's the point? They show much more dedication and spirit to the Bulldogs than half of that school and if they want to show it...power to them. They're not just cheerleaders but they're competition cheerleaders, and be sure that you understand there is a huge difference. By the hard work they do, they gain both endurance and strength. Go home and try to pick up a 120lb person by their two feet straight in the air. See how it feels. They are dedicated to what they do and the teams they take part in...who wouldn't want to congratulate them in that? Atleast they are man enough to know what they're doing is fine.

who cares if there cheerleaders?... i just wanted to know if they were gonna sacrifice state.. or work around it... they prolly work twice as hard than the football team anyways.... they have to be in great shape and in good condidition.....and i think they deserve a round of applause.... personally.... at least their ego isnt too big to be to cool to be a cheerleader...
