This has been one of the only years imo that Richlands hasn't been able to run the ball. They have had some studs in the backfield in recent years. They always have a big strong line. Just because you run the ball out of the spread don't mean you can't play power football. You can use formations with h-backs and TE's and run good downhill power run plays. The fact is and I'm not trying to knock on Richlands is they have played good teams and just not got the job done the past few years.

Never thought I would say this but man I miss the hell out of James Colley and the Haysi tigers... even though they were the wrong colors lol

I sat amongst the union fans when they played Richlands and never herd anything out of the way. If anything they growled more at Turner than anyone.

The comment that I got so bent out of shape about was when you said Hurley would be the best team in the area... that is still far from the truth. Very very good football team but not the best in the area.

Your right I haven't got to watch a lot this year due to work. I will gladly eat my crow from the preseason what I said was totally wrong.

I know what it may have looked like from the stands for some of you but I can assure you that Hubbard never intentionally ran the score up on anyone. Pretty sure it's not his fault that Hurley was so freaking bad they couldn't stop a third string running back. I wish Hurley all the success in the world this year and for the kids sake I will be rooting for them in every game they play except for Friday. But for all you blowhards that finally got something good to run your mouths about... take advantage of it this year because things will soon be back to the way they have been for a long time now.

Our trouble is line play! Very young and not athletic at all on the lines which is very surprising because if we never have anything we usually have a decent line. Hartley (the qb) has turned into a good runner from all the running for his life he has done this year. Eaton (#12) has really impressed me this year. When we can get a pass off he's a very dependable WR.

I'm sure you will get to see his punting abilities all night better get there for warm-ups to make sure you get to see him kick fgs

45-50 I'd say he is comfortable but he definitely has the leg for around 55.

Like Tiger_Tilt said when we visited GW last year that was my first time and it did not disappoint! The only thing I didn't understand was why they don't clean the hill side up? If they done that they would have numerous options to make an already great place to watch a game even greater!! Loved my visit and hope this email 2 teams meet up again this year back in Wytheville! Also Honaker can't get the kicker in range 4 times a game so I don't think they will score 12!

They have a pretty athletic qb that can run and throws pretty good! If Hurley plays like they can they are 2tds better
