Radford hasn’t trailed by more that 7 points all season and have only trailed once in the second half and that was against Glenvar on Friday. If Graham can go up 14 points then Radford may hit the panic button and self implode much like what happened the last time these two faced in the semis. If Graham doesn’t get pressure on Clark then this could end up being a back and forth shoot out bc I don’t think Radford will keep Clements boxed up.

A buddy of mine coaches for Raddy and he confirmed it as well.

Congrats on a great season Bears and good luck next week to the G-Men! Two great teams battled today and it’s a shame that one had to lose.

That’s honestly why I picked Graham this time around. All because of it being a rematch. I don’t think there is much of a talent difference between the two and they’re both coached well but them rematches are dangerous.

That’s good and all but doesn’t hide the fact that people can’t have fun at Tazewell’s field 😂

Graham and Union are certainly both capable of beating Radford but they wont have an advantage like Glenvar did. The Highlanders have played against Clark for 3 straight years and gotten the best of him with the exception of this year. Glenvar also has a great coaching staff that is a nightmare for teams in a rematch(ask us Giles fans about 2014…) Clifford(Glenvar’s Coach) is a genius at scouting and finding the weak spots and coming up with new schemes to throw the opposing team off. Radford shell shocked Glenvar in the first quarter the first time they played but after that they didn’t really do a whole lot. Again, Union and Graham have the athletes to beat the Bobcats but if they get overconfident thinking they’re just gonna run it down Radford’s throat and be able to contain Clark they may also get shell shocked.

CCC is without a doubt POY. He could be POY in Class 1 and 2 for 3 straight years.

Radford didn’t look great today but they were also playing their district rivals who have one of the best coaches in the state in a rematch. I know Graham and Union fans now think it’ll be a cake walk against Radford but let’s look back at how bad Union looked against Ridgeview and Graham against Virginia High and GC. Anything can happen, especially now this late in the season

I don’t believe they do. Not throwing shade at Galax but if they’re able to host a semifinal game than anyone can, even Radford with the little portable bleachers.

I’ve heard that Mance with take the reins back and coach the Blue Tornado virtually.

The portable bleachers are only like 4 rows high and stretch out about 20 yards. I doubt it holds more than 150 people

They definitely have a shot but their path to Salem is a lot harder this year than the previous 7 years.

I know some Galax people posted earlier that GW would win in a rematch but the Tide has definitely improved as the season went on. GW has sorta surprised me in a way. At the start of the season I had them finishing 5-5 at best but they’ve found their mojo and have a full head of steam. I’m taking the Maroons 24-14.

Glenvar has done strange things in the past when it comes to rematches….hate to have to think about what happened in 2014 🤢 but I don’t see that happening against Raddy. They may keep it a little closer but I’m saying Radford 42-17
