Kinda makes sense in practice especially when numbers are low. But in a game? Come on now this game is already sissied up enough you can't hit anybody, you can't be physical at all. There has been one Physical old school style player around here in prob last 6-8 years and that was that Jesse boy from Wise. #59 he played rough mean style and would hit somebody. There ain't many like that anymore. Everybody is too scared of penalties or getting hurt. Sorry for the rant y'all

I hope they have a good season definitely making the trip up there to watch them and GC playing this year

did both of those Jesse boys graduate? And I think the one RB is a senior #2 I think without Mullins they maybe win 3-4 games.

Eastside Home vs Holston 8/11 6:00 They will play in the Ridgeview Jamboree 8/19 The teams last year in it was Twin Valley, Chillhowie, Ridgeview, Wise Central, and I'm pretty sure Hurley.

Have any of you guys seen the YouTube page, SWVAFOOTBALL. It was done up till about 2011 and stopped. Any idea who ran it or why it was stopped? Not that it was an easy thing to do but man that used to be cool to watch still stop on there every know and then and watch some old films.

I agree with the 1A but just a question anybody feel free to answer but who all does Bland and Chillhowie return. I'm kinda knowledgeable on chowie but bland I am lost.

Same with Eastside. They've had a hardworking off season since hicks came to town. Time to see how it pays off!

Does anybody knock down the "juggernaut" of JIB this year? TW had some good young talent last year as did Twin Springs. EastSide has an older team with some young talent coming back. Does Rye cove capitalize off their sudden growth in numbers last year? How will Castlewood deal with returning senior QB Josh Wood?

Jason Hicks. I believe he came from Ridgeview. And everybody runs a course I do believe. Some just have longer than others.

Tyler Elam should be back for Eastside this year. Hopefully he stays healthy we should be able to compete with the best
