In this area, I am pretty sure it is 8 across the board. However, there are some regions, like 1A Region B for instance who only have 6 eligible teams, so all 6 in that region will make it with top two getting first round byes. It's very likely that Cumberland will go 0-10 and make the playoffs. The 6A region Franklin County is in only has 8 teams also, so all 8 make the playoffs. At least Franklin County has won a couple of games though, albeit against smaller competition.

3/4ths of their non conference schedule is 3A+, that's true. However, I am not sure that Christiansburg and Hidden Valley could beat the majority of 2A Region D teams. And in the case of Christiansburg, I think they would lose to the top tier of 1A Region C & D teams.

So, about this game Friday night... who from Scott County is making the drive over to the ridge? Would love to say a friendly hello to you folks at the least.

Thanks. Yeah, I posted in the Shoutbox where I was off. Only region where I had every team matching theirs was 1D. Some of the teams I was off on play NC schools, so maybe NC schools are treated differently when it comes to calculating them or something. Who knows?

2A Region D, I have EXACTLY what you posted BigWinners. 2A Region C, I have a few minor differences with 3 teams: I have Giles at 18.4 instead of 18.2, Martinsville at 15 instead of 14.5, and Radford at 12 instead of 11.6. Places for Giles, Martinsville and Radford are the same though.

I'm working on those now... Cable/internet went down for about 2.5 hours earlier, so I got delayed. Lol

I know at least some of those are wrong... Tunstall and Alleghany have .66667 on the end of theirs... to get that kind of average you'd have to have played 3 or 6 games, and Tunstall and Alleghany have both played 4 games. Lol

This... We had a Pick Six, a Scoop and Score, another Lee fumble inside their own 5 which led to another Ridgeview score on the next play and a safety. Union should have no problem with Lee based on what I saw. As I told a couple of the Union players over at UVa-Wise yesterday, if Union gets past Morristown West next week, I think the Bears go 10-0.

No... Richlands will not be hurt at all on points for tonight and last week. I have already pegged them, Graham, Marion and Virginia High making it to Region D playoffs out of the Southwest. I think those 4 make it from the Southwest and 4 make it from the Mountain 7.

Not arguing that point... Lol. We most likely would be 1-3. As I told you on Facebook, a 1-3 team isn't going to be in the rankings. Plain and simple.

A 1-3 team doesn't belong in the top 5. Sorry Blues fans. I don't give two slices of cheesy greasy Italian Village pizza what their schedule looks like. :)
