I've always been a huge advocate of Tim Hayes' work. Tim knows his stuff and does his research. The History with Hayes article each Friday in the paper is probably the most looked forward to bit of reading I have each week. Sacco was excellent when he was here as well. I don't know much about Nate, except he's a hockey fan like myself, so that makes him cool in my book.

I went and watched Johnson County play Sullivan East in week 1 on the Tennessee side, and Johnson County's field was exactly like Sandlick's... Pure mud bog!

If you're going by the Mountaineer's stats for that game, they were way off. Dickenson Star had Ridgeview with twice as much penalty yards as Grundy which is most likely correct. We had 2 15 yarders on 2 separate plays. That's 60 yards right there. Mountaineer reported that the second touchdown from Grundy came on a blocked punt and return in the box score. It was a punt return, not a blocked punt. I know you work for Grundy, but that game just wasn't as close as the score seemed to indicate. Just my opinion. As well as you're welcome to yours. We can agree to disagree. I'm pulling for Grundy to win the BDD and think they have a very good shot at it. ☺️

Ridgeview actually has 6 at home this year and only 4 away. We already have 3/4 of the away games out of the way. Lol. I assume it will be opposite next year though with 4 at home and 6 away.

I don't like ESPN either, I hate they have the ACC exclusivity. But Ryan is a good dude.

If Ridgeview doesn't have 6,000 yards in penalties in the Grundy game, that game isn't even close. Sorry. I do believe that the Wave is top of the class in the BDD though.

Depends... the teams Glenvar has played currently have racked up the bonus points for them. I have them at 20 bonus points already, which is ridiculous. Looks like Floyd will reward them with several more... they probably go 10-0 if they get past Giles in week 9.

Looking at Region C currently, I would say the top 8 in both 1A and 2A are going to be the teams making it... just in a much different order by the end of the season.
