This is going to be a brutal place for Gate City to play at. Gate City's coach already has problems with fan interaction. Graham is the home team and will be right on his bench the whole game, I'm talking maybe a few feet away. Richlands and Graham never left that building without fighting and a lot more is on the line now. Shewwwwww I'm excited to watch this one.
It’s not impossible, and Graham is about the only team in SWVA I’d say that about. Graham does not play a style conducive to outpointing Gate City in a close game, and Graham would need a whale of a lot to go right. I’d say that Graham’s odds are about as good as drawing a case ace on the river in Hold-Em.
Only way Graham has even a change would be if Gate City got destroyed with injuries.
RICHLANDS! I have posted it in other topics but I feel like next year's Richlands team will be hard to beat. They are going to feed off of this season's success and failures to grow and be hard to handle come next fall.
They will have a outstanding running back next year in Booker. He was only a sophomore this year. Returning Almost everyone except a few linemen, Johnson, and Daniel Brown. I believe Medley, the Casey brothers, altizer, absher who were all freshman and sophomore who got thrown to the wolfs and a few others will take a huge step this off season. There is a few kids coming up from the Middle School team who I am very excited about, the Newberry kid may very will be the next Caleb Jennings. Also a great Wide Out who in a few years may be excellent also.
Sorry dude, I don't bet on high school kids. They aren't professionals. They are kids playing their hearts out. Why would I be upset?..lol..I think it's funny when the underdog is not given a chance and walks away with the trophy..
I never said I wasn't pulling for SWVA teams. I'm just being realistic.
Union is not going to pass the ball on Appo. If Union wins this game its because they run the ball down their throat. Appo gives up a lot of rushing yards and as far as I am concerned, Union has one of the best rushing attack offenses left. On Defense, Appo is probably going to play 1 on 1 on the corners and leave Graves to play center field and do what Richlands did, send the heat every play. If Union can score more than 28 or 30 yall win. (If you can stop them.)
Giles fans, I have a question for you since you've seen both Graham and Appomattox. First, is Graves faster than Cooke? And second, is scruggs better than Allen? And if so, where?
Not a Giles fan, but I've watched Appomattox. Graves is not faster than Cooke, however Graves is a much better play maker than Cooke. Yes, Scruggs is better than allen. He is much more experienced and has more play makers around him than Allen does.
