last year i spoke about the fullhouse as being the difference, it was, and i dont see MANCE letting UNION run at will again. I would think that he will make UNION and MITCHELL beat him with the pass. HARVEY coming in will only help that plan to limit the downfield throws.On the RICHLANDS side i see the QB run as the biggest challenge to our "D" and a few screens to the backs to slow down the rush.So far no one has been able to run on UNION and I think MANCE will know that.Its going to be sloppy, whoever turns the ball over the most---looses

Can we say wildcat? no its not Mitchell running it, its the kid who ran everywhere against norton as the second string QB.That kid can motor, kinda looks like the qb from CLEMSON, no i dont know anything but just threw it out there.If its dry ,we will throw ,if its wet we will throw, but much shorter. I have a honest question on transfers.When a student athlete transfers schools does he/she have to be with a family member that lives inside that school district?if so can they live in say, TAZEWELL and go to RICHLANDS ,as long as they stay inside the same school division?Iknow there are cases where children are placed inside non family homes due to court action, but as a general rule do they have to be with a family member

UNION VS BETSY, like others have said UNION done some good things, but there was room for improvement. The thing that stuck out was the line play, no 50 for BETSY dominated our guys, he must have had 8 solo tackles in limited playing time.I also noticed that JEB STIDHAM did a good job of crowding the line of scrimmage while the other linemen seem to be back off the ball = more yards per carry and futher back to the other teams back field.What a diiference a year makes,TURNER LOOKED GREAT, and so did the other skill guys, but the line play needs work,sled time will help these young men, and the extra time will help them.

James will stay put on d, look for the younger Jenkins kid to be on a island, Jeb Stidham and Barnett will be down inside, Owens will be d backfield with Zirkle at LB , the Gibson kid decided not to play and that would have been another db and back up Qb, this is all a guess of course, based on last year.
