Read a few posts from PM faithful on another site. According to them, two Hurley "fans" were arrested following the game for attacking their own players.
 
No idea if this is indeed true and i am not implying that it is. Given some stuff posted on this site this season by some Hurley "fans", it does seem plausible.
 
If there is any truth to those claims, those "fans" aren't doing anything but destroying the reputation of the very community they claim to love and support.

I know that this game didn't turn out as well as expected for the Rebels, but I would like to congratulate Hurley on an outstanding season.

I'm not a great fan of local football, in fact I live in Hurley.  I've talked to some of these kids parents, make that young men's parents, and I know the commitment these "YOUNG MEN" have made.  I also know that there's a few out there who would talk trash about Hurley if they had played college team's and went undefeated !  They see Hurley as a "backer" (tobacco) chewing, toothless redneck hillbilly community with unpaved roads,  but let me assure anyone who think     along these lines nothing could be farther from the facts !!  We have a paved parking lot at the school, my attempt at a bit of bit of humor.  As was stated earlier, don't lump all Hurley fans in one basket, sure there are some that are rude and crude but again as was stated earlier every community has them. Show me a person who says they don't have fans like that and I'll show you a liar.

So, someone calls Graham manure and it's a sin? Yet Hurley has 180 kids in the school (which is the seconds smallest football school in VA the last I heard) Lead VA in all classifications in scoring, while averaging nearly 500 yards a game and you cannot help yourself to keep from talking crap about them? You must either be a crooked lawyer or a terrible one because you bend everything to suite yourself when someone states their opinion. Just chill dude, you're really an A$$ and cannot back the majority of what comes out of your mouth on paper. The majority of Hurley's D TDS have came into the second half and you pick 2 games? Graham played 4, yes 4 single A schools. only beating FC by 21 and Galax by 14? Oh wait you say, they're GOOD 1A schools? I thought 2A is so much more superior in talent (a statement you've made before- I paraphrase there) oh wait? I am from Hurley, I shouldn't know what Paraphrase even is. It's time for YOU to shut up snowflake :)
 
The last time I called you out a few years ago I remember telling you Tech will beat UVA by 3TD's you said it would NEVER happen and yet Tech steamrolled 38-0. My point, You do not know everything about football, you cannont predict the future. Just support the local teams man unless they're playing Graham. Just because a couple Hurley ppl gets under your skin I advise you not to group all of Hurley together. I take it personally, I respect every team and show respect to every team even the ones who have fans that ERRKKK the crap out of me.

If PM wins I'd imagine Hurley fans will be upset, of course, heartbreak is part of the game. But please do not make the mistake that Hurley fans are not respectable and humble in defeat. A few bad apples doesn't ruin a fan base.

UVAObserver, I don't know where you got your information from, but Hurley had Shelby Valley down 50 to 8 starting the 4th qt and Shelby Valleys starters scored 4 Td's against a bunch of 9th graders.

That would be impressive, but I think somebody got into the cooking wine when they posted that.

Recruiting violations? LOL...that's funny....

Crigger has been hit hard with recruiting violations. I heard the kid ran like a"Deere".

Yes you can make it from Abingdon to Grundy easily in 1:35 mins. Take rt 80 at rosedale, cross drill mountain and take 460 the rest of the way. I lived in honaker and traveled drill to Hurley and the trip was 55 minutes.
 
Now concerning the schedule strength. Hurleys first string hammered central in the preseason. Hammered castlewood who beat honaker. I'm seeing the makings is a blowout win for Hurley. Just my two cents.

Wow , I had to pull out the old dictionary to understand those big words.In the Marine Corp they told me that most 4-letter cover any situation, ie lack of knowledge of any subject....example well F*$#, OR TRYING TO MAKE A POINT "LISTEN F*^ck**, OR THE OLD GO F*** YOURSELF.There is no need to use big words,lets just sit here and glow in each others thoughts and know that we all love our teams .Like I told my girlfriend ,I would have rather seen Richlands beat Union in over time than to watch Union steamroll Richlands if the game sucked......WELL ,F#@$ I LIED,I WOULD RATHER SEE UNION WIN ,BUT I MADE MY POINT, AND YOU SHOULD NEVER LISTEN TO A OLD MARINE BECAUSE I KNOW THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN "DUCK" AND F@#$" IS SPELLING AND ANYTHING I SAY IS MEANT TO MAKE YOU SMILE
