Who is happy with the transparancy of your Region and the VHSL in putting out info on what will be what? Am i looking for info in all the wrong places or what? The drama in region D is outrageous and should have been addressed by the region publicly. The issue in C over Pittsylvania County saying to the press they would not be playing towards any state titles and now it seems like they will be. Why have the directors or whatnot of the regions and the VHSL not addressed these issues publicly?
if i can have my way lol. I want Graham to win, i do not want that long trip to BSG again if it comes down to playing them. How the hell did they decide the playoff format this year and not use power points?
I’d say Richlands although more is at stake for Radford at this point. If they win and FC loses, I believe that may secure the Bobcats a playoff bid. Somebody can correct me if I’m wrong.
Id have to say Richlands wins. Radford needs the win but its not likely Fort will lose to alleghany.
I think everbody I 2a is playing for state runner up at best....Appo should cruise to another stites title....im not sure Appo would loose if you took all 3 tazewell co teams and built one......
Your giving Appomattox way too much credit. I love my RAIDERS but this is not one of our best teams this year. Yes we have a chance, but alot of tough teams out there. I personally feel like Graham wins it all this year providing covid allows it to happen.
Pretty much. The team preferred to stay in Tazewell as opposed to going back home and coming back. Both sides want this game played today and want that badly. So long as we have a window short of the curfew, it will happen.
If the 1st game counts for everyone Graham will finish with one loss and presumably be the #1 Seat in the SWD, Richlands/Tazewell would end up with 2 losses Richlands would have lost to A 1 loss Graham and a 2 Loss Tazewell, Tazewell would end up with a loss to 1 loss Graham and a 0 loss Riverhead.
Who is worth the Most Rider points (Losing to AA -2 team or a 1A 6-0 team?)
Even tho legally they do not have the right to stop you from using the sidewalk, you have to ask yourself do you trust the police to know the law? Is it worth your time to challenge it in court if needed? Not worth the effort to me just rubs me wrong to have my rights violated. The sidewalk is along a public street not on the school property itself.
Tazewell parents were in the visitor bleachers. Richlands parents in the home stands. And about double what was inside — was outside the fence and up on the hillside.
I wanted to goto a game and was told i would be asked to leave if i tried to watch from a sidewalk. Kinda rubs me wrong seeing how the sidewalk is public property and you have a right to use it.
Just as a side note, i watched parts of Richlands game and noticed what i believe to fans sitting on visitor side. What was the deal with that? Wont there so i cant say why they were there. Might have been parents of Richlands players for all i know. The camera never showed the fans on home team side.
Well, Bluefield College is allowed 30% capacity at Mitchell Stadium under Governor’s order but yet Graham is allowed 250 in the same stadium.
If im not mistaken Bluefield College stadium is in WV. I remember the state line being in the corner as you pass the basketball stadium 40 years ago. Would that not have different spectator rules?
With playing what i consider a very weak schedule this year i'm not looking forward to playoffs. Appo might be ready for them by then but the young men have a ways to go.
Well.... that game fired the drive throughout these playoffs.
Not sure we would have got past Graham last year, watched them at states and they were impressive. Graham was loaded and our young team like you said was not matured yet ( they are still working on it).
Honestly i was expecting to be beat by Graham last year and i would have been happy. But that game stil eats at me, i was upset we did not get the chance to play them again this year. And boy lookout next year, you know the RAIDERS will be looking hard at two teams in 2020 for redemption.
