I know this isnt football related but this post will get seen more on this thread. Our Richlands Outkast 10u team is currently in a race for most likes to win protective facemasks with visors worth over $600. If anyone could please help us out it will only take a few seconds. We're currently in first place but a team from Texas is catching us fast. All you have to do is click the link, load more comments til you get to the top, and we are like 20-30 pics down. Nah i believe Bluefield dominates all those teams except for maybe ridgeview. But would still win in my opinion.

Richlands will not beat Graham if they play like they did tonight. Right now ill pick Graham as a 14 point favorite. May even have problems with Virginia High.

Some teams struggled tonight that were big favorites. Bluefield loses and only scores 3 points. I wouldnt consider this a big favorite but the 3 points was shocking. Ridgeview was favored big and was a close game at halftime but didnt put it away like i thought. I know a win is a win. Richlands struggled with Marion but pulled away with some nice defensive turnovers. In the first half you wouldve thought theyve never played football. Was just a weird night for some teams in our region. Does anyone see a team from our region as the big favorite in 2a? I know Chilhowie is looking good in 1a

Yeh ill take the chocolate one please. I was expecting it to be a close game after seeing Richlands have some success on the ground when we dont have much of a running game. LB's running game is a completely different beast. But still shocked they got held to 3 points. What happened? Turnovers? Just good defense? I know they were limited in plays but with all those playmakers and only get 3 is quite shocking. Did LB have a lot of speed on defense?

I told you i had a gut feeling about this game. But wasnt expecting this. UPDATE? can you listen online?

EDIT: Run defense My gut tells me LB may keep it respectable with their ground and pound and chew the clock type gamestyle and might even make it a game. I heard if Bluefield has a weakness its their run defense. Richlands had some success on the ground if i remember correctly.

Cant believe i havent seen a post about this yet. LB played Blacksburg pretty close just going by the score. Do they have anything for Bluefield? Maybe GotW?

Not sure if youre talking about sportsmanship amongst players or from the post. But on Tazewells first drive alone i seen #3 get up from a tackle and elbow a defender on the ground as he was getting up right in front of me and the ref. Couple plays later mightve been the same player not sure. But he got up after a tackle and in plain view of me and the ref he literally kicks the defender on the ground. No flags for either. I know Richlands had a couple unsportsmanlike penalties but were for running their mouth. Theres absolutely no sense in elbowing or kicking a defender after the play is over especially after u ran for a nice chunk of yards.

From what i seen these 2 teams were pretty equal. Take away the blocked punt and pick six and its a tie ball game. Offenses scored same amount of points. Yes Union deserved to win and did everything right. Richlands has some line problems that im not sure they can fix. Race was back pedaling most of the night as he was passing. But i didnt see either team being the more complete team. Union does have that one standout player in Jenkins that Richlands doesn't have. As far as refs they did an ok job besides the one bad call on the inadvertent whistle. Was a terrible call. Shouldve been bears ball. Seen some holding calls on both teams that werent called but more so with Union. But happens every game. I honestly thought Union was gonna be better. I predicted them to win. Still a good team though. I believe if we see a rematch it will be much closer.

Congrats Bluefield. Heck of a game. You had to overcome a few terrible calls but never gave up. What a combination in Truck and Mookie. True definition of thunder and lightening. On another note, wow, what a passing game the polar bears have. That's one heck of a QB. Wasn't eyeing down one receiver and always scanning the field. He's special. Congrats to both teams and one heck of a game. Now let's go Union.

Don't think I'm going to be able to watch Bluefield game on metro news. Looks like just sports talk.

I'll be there with my small Richlands cowbell. Unless I can find a bigger one. Not sure what side I will sit on though cuz I love hearing the reactions on the visitors side

OK didn't know that. Thought I'd seen somewhere they were the same day. Doubt I'll make the trip for one game. Esp. 7pm on a Friday then have to drive all the way back and catch Union game.

If you go to watch all three games do you have to pay more?

Was thinking about going to watch Bluefield play in state. So I looked to see how far Wheeling was, thinking it would be around the middle of the state. Was very surprised to see it was up in the pan handle across the river from Ohio. All I can say is why?

I said it near mid-season that if Union doesn't get them a true QB they will struggle. Just hope it doesn't cost them tonight. Yall seen how close the 2ND game with Richlands game was.

I picked Appo to win this but my gut is telling me it may come down to the wire.
