Never was school grounds, inside the fence or outside thefence is All  Town of Big Stone Gap. We (the town) pay 100% of the cost of maintenance as well as the Police officers( county pays its deputys’) so that’s why there may be a discussion at the town council meeting( may be) . Just to be clear there has been a noise ordinance on the books for some time.
It should be noted that many of the complaints came from Union fans , so we have a week or so to work this out. I see a different location of the horn and a written set of guidelines to be put in place.

Ah ok. I was always under the impression it becomes school grounds once the event starts.

I guess if you want quietness go to church or a funeral. NFHS streams the games every week

  2. Somebody may feel accomplished when it isn’t inside the park anymore. I stand on the fence line and you can bet it’ll go outside the pass gate fence in the bed of a truck and blow nonstop facing the end zone now and there’s nothing no one can do or say about it. Why? Because it’s not school grounds. I’ll gladly hear it blowing across my back all night.

Bradshaw is a hell of an athlete when he has the ball but he puts in no effort on defense. I’d pull him and put someone back there that would contribute.

I posted earlier I think he’s one of the laziest players on the field. Numerous times I’ve seen the huddle break going to the line and he’s not even back to the LOS yet. Just mopes around

Union is playing with help on Bradshaw and begging Graham to throw deep simply playing center field.  Graham might be able to exploit Union in the second half with sending Bradshaw on some shallower type routes.  Instead of running seems and flags, look for Bradshaw to run some sitdown routes to get him the ball.

Why is he moping around so lazy like? I’ve noticed several times the play has been called and the line is lining up before he even makes it to the huddle. I don’t see much hustle in him.

C'mon man getting offered by Notre Dame and WVU is a little diff than smaller D1 programs. Doesn't mean one player is better, but if you're talking about buzz or narrative, having an offer from ND is a big deal. I think Jenkins could make a D1 team as a returner alone, he's all over the field. But ND hasn't came knocking (and may be they're stupid not to come knocking) yet, so of course people gonna talk about the most highly recruited player in the game

I respect your responses, and agree 100%

No dog in the Fight, but if your going by D1 recruits with 2 of Graham's and the other 9, then we have to remember for Union it can be Lomax and the other 10. He is Div 1, so the GMen aren't the only team in the contest with a D1 recruit.

But Jenkins has been offered as well. Why doesn’t he count along side Lomax?

You can bet your boots that Turner has covered Graham as a TEAM not as a couple. I think its only natural for people to talk about those two due to their recruitment. When people talk about Tampa Bay, who do they talk about? Definitely no slight to the other 40+ kids on the team.

    Rays, Bucs, Lightning?

My brother ran track for Radford in the 90s and competed against Lee High and Eric Satterfield. I think Johnny Satterfield is either his son or nephew. Eric played football at Lee High and was an All State RB and had stupid speed. Eric anchored the Lee 4x100 group that won the state title/finished first in the state of Virginia in either 98 or 1999.. It's no surprise Johnny is fast. He has solid genes.  I wrote this on Vapreps that Union has a D1 back in Lomax, and the backup in Satterfield could start at almost all but 1 or 2 schools in Region D and C at running back.

it's his son. Mason Polier was his nephew.

Johnny is an athlete on the wrestling mat as well just like Eric was
