Honaker & Rural Retreat going right back at it. That might be the best first round game. Can you imagine if Rural Retreat manages an upset. They nearly beat them last night granted it was at RR.

The Graham kid coming on as QB after the other one quit at VH, has done a really good job in my opinion. He’s only going to get better. I know others will disagree but I think Reese is about as talented as Creasy. He just doesn’t have the other talent around him to get the stats Creasy gets.

Depending on who lands in Richlands as head coach, maybe he goes there??? He’s a very talented kid. Richlands needs a true QB. Nothing against the Boyd kid but he’s no QB. He can punt pretty well though.

I have no reactions left but 💯 % on the money with this comment. If O’Quinn is out next week and Creasy is in, I don’t see the Wolfpack beating the Bulldogs. Tazewell can win this one if they’re focused and play smart even if O’Quinn plays.

Their QB is definitely very talented and I think they throw a lot but he can also run. I’m not sure about O-Line and other offensive weapons but I think their defensive play is weaker than offensive & might not be able to stop Graham’s offense. I feel like our defense is playoff ready though. They have been clicking on all cylinders for about the last five games. Our offense is getting closer. Roberts has really improved since the beginning of the season. Our kicking game is really good. The older Nash has done a great job this year. The younger Nash almost made a 43 yard or thereabouts field goal last night. It was just shy of making it through the uprights. Our special teams have improved a lot. They’ve been a weakness in the past but I’m pleased with them at this point in the season. Someone from M7 might have more insight on Lee’s strengths & weaknesses,

Crazy how many 3-7 & 4-6 teams are in the playoffs. Pretty pointless first round in several games. Maybe we’ll see some upsets to keep it exciting.

“Outcoached” is the key word. Appomattox can out coach Crist any day of the week but maybe Radford’s talent can carry them to beat Appo.

I don’t think they’re a fraud but beginning with Patrick Henry game, they’ve been exposed even though they ended 10-0, I’m not sure they end up in Salem. If they do and Essex does, Honaker won’t win. IMHO

It was pretty bad but the Richlands’ boys played hard but wow.

Well deserved retirement, Coach Tarter is a good guy and undeserving of the hate from Richlands’ folks. He stepped up when there wasn’t anyone else. Hopefully, someone can come in and build them back!

Richlands’ fan screaming for Graham players to take a knee & show some respect. Player walked off the field on his own accord. 🤦 I get their frustration but good grief! Sorry but I don’t think either team has to kneel every single time a player is down. If it’s obviously something dire or serious, okay.

By decline, I meant his last couple of seasons. Would they be more competitive if he had stayed, probably but the Wells’ thing was hard to recover from and the program continued to go down.

Since Snake came to Graham, Richlands hasn’t beat the GMen. Gotta be pretty sweet every time he steps onto to the field at Ernie Hicks & wins. One of the best Richlands’ “ “transfers” to come to Graham, lol. The Blues were on the decline before Mance left then Wells’ fiasco and the Tarter/Lowe situation cemented the further decline of the once powerhouse of SWVA. I think we all are pulling for the Blues to figure it out and become competitive again but like you, I think they’ll need a changing of the guard to start the climb back up.

VHSL league denies them but kisses Grayson’s butt. 🙄

Depending on injury/sickness situation, it might end up being a barn burner. I’m not sure if anything really changes much regardless of which one wins. I’ll have to go look at the projection thread. Either way, I hope it’s a good game and both teams have a great showing to end regular season play.
