Wasn’t directed at you , just a general state in regards to comments made on here in the past, maybe should have used GW Fans instead of GW Loyals 😂.

I just wonder if GW fans on here are going to say coaches cost them the game. Last year, their coaches got a lot of flack on this board by GW loyals.

I’m just going to pick Bluefield by 20 and hope reverse psychology works to GMen’s favor 😂.

I know Bluefield fans around town are saying Graham loses by a lot. Freddy may have some secrets he’s held back. If Graham has a 20 penalty game , Bluefield may very well win by a lot. If Graham comes out disciplined & focused, the Beavers may not win by a lot; Graham may take it. I do think Graham will be stronger on the line just from what I’ve seen on film. Both teams have speed. I think Tony Palmer has built a very consistent program and I’d put his coaching staff up against any around here. Bluefield is Bluefield & they’re always tough. I’m just hoping for a good game, no injuries for either team, & a GMen win! 🤞

I’d be surprised if anyone gets rolled, probably be dogfight until the time runs out. I’m just hoping GMen pull out the W!

I’m going to say Gate City pulls it out in a close one. They’re much improved & have some momentum going into to game.

Bluefield is a great unknown right now to me. I agree Graham’s defense is solid. Fuller at QB for Bluefield is going to be an asset from what I’ve read. I could see it being within one score. I’m not sure Graham bulldozes Beavers but I hope they pull out the win. My Bluefield friends are saying Beaver bulldozes Graham so I guess we’ll see. It’s few & far between GMen winning two in a row against Bluefield! 🤞

The admins can tell if a person is using multiple accounts I think??? Something to do with IP address. If it makes the board more interesting, I’m okay with one person having multiple conversations with oneself. It’s probably therapeutic (I only play a doctor on a sports board) 😂.

I haven’t heard much chatter about Beaver thus far. Can Graham come away with a repeat of last year or do Beavers dominate? What says the board?

They must have improved or coaches are doing a better job. We’ve heard on here the past couple seasons from GW folks how bad coaching is…guess they’ve turned the corner if they’re giving Union a run for their money.

Richlands was headed south before Mance went south. Hey, I ain’t complaining, Richlands’ loss, Graham’s gain. Credit to him & Snake for all those successful years together for the Blues. I wish Tarter the best, he’s a stand up guy. Harris has done a great job at Tazewell. Hope the Blues & Dawgs can be successful this season but I sure do love the rivalry between them. It sure makes the board more entertaining!

Predictions: Does George Wythe score on Union tonight? That’s a long haul from Wytheville. I don’t envy those boys on that bus ride.

Did anyone go to the Graham/EC Glass game? I only know what I read on that “other” site. 😂 I was wanting to hear from an area person that went to get their firsthand insights. It sounded like talent wasn’t the issue but EC Glass just playing undisciplined & Graham showing up to play ball. Defense seems to be strong & obviously GMen have speed even though “some” want to debate that, lol.

Hope it’s not a season ending injury. I hate to see any player get hurt. 🙏 The Blues are in capable hands in Coach Tarter. This may or may not be their season but give him some time. He’s a great one to have at the helm.

I cheer for our county rivals unless they’re playing the GMen! If it’s the Dawgs & Blues, I usually pull for the Dawgs. I have relatives in Tazewell, lol!
