My apologies to Abingdon & Wise Central on behalf of all Gate Citians. I had no idea that Darren Reed had set your respective programs back so terribly, or cost you the multiple championships that a qualified coach would have won. I want a person of character who will use football as a means of teaching functional life lessons to help GC kids be successful off the field. It doesn’t matter a bit to me where they come from. Darren Reed is like my wife - not the best, but the best that I can do. 😂

I LOVE Coach Robbins... but many of those wins were against po-dunk schools. The man had two regular season games to play each year and a three round cakewalk to the championship. His numbers are great, but he had some help.

He could just teach & live without the 5k HC stipend; make $45k/year to teach drivers ed. I just hope they let him ride on the bus back from Wise.

IDK if the guy would come back if they did offer him.

Not having #20 hurt GC badly on both sides. Obviously it hasn’t been the results they wanted, but the last three weeks have produced three barn burners. Wise got a big W tonight, so next week could be another one.
