That was a very solid Grundy team. Coming off a Regional title the year before and running into a buzz-saw Amherst. They returned a lot of talent that season led by D. Scammell and L. Owens and a host of other contributors. Rowe did a great job during that time of utilizing his athletes. Copenhaver was comparable to Blevins from Graham a few years ago. He could play anywhere.

Then imagine the rest of your team catching wind of this crap. Detrimental to a team going into week 10 just before the playoffs no matter who they're about to play. After recent games, it appears the wheels on the bus are wobbly for the pack, gate city not that much different. They've been more consistent than r.v. but still sorta kinda on the struggle bus. Flip a coin in this one.
