The Chilhowie faithful will not tolerate others who are “being realistic”.
-
Which one is the cardinal sin?
Not pulling for SWVA teams or being realistic
-
My way too early, uniformed predictions for 2018
SWD 1. Graham 2. Va High 3.Richlands 4.Marion 5.Tazewell 6. Lebanon
Mountain-1. Ridgeview 2. Union 3. Abingdon 4. Lee 5. Gate City 6. Battle 7, Cental-Wise
Graham edges Va High for Region D Crown

Riverheads reminds me a lot of Giles.
Both are well-coached, disciplined teams that run an old-school offense to perfection.
-
The three best teams in 1A are all from the East (Riverheads, Essex, and Sussex Central).
You then have a big gap down to William Campbell, Chilhowie, Galax, and Narrows.
-
This shart stain is a nothing but a troll. Three different posts he referred to Richland. It's Richlands, and you'd know that if you were really from Union.
-
Parity? Not so much.
4 teams with a chance to 3-peat.
2A-Appomattox
4A-Salem
5A-Highland Springs
6A-Westfield
Also, Riverheads is in the 1A finals for the 3rd straight year with a chance to repeat.

But that's not why Chilhowie lost to GW.
Chilhowie lost to GW because they always assume they're going to lose that game.
-
Logan Adams played QB against GW. He is a Sophomore.
-
Congratulations to the Warriors!
Maroon Tide's secondary woes caught up with them today. Losing Dougie Peoples didn't help.
Look for a Galax/Chilhowie rematch in 2018.
-
George Wythe is in Chilhowie's head.
-
-
-
Essex with 2 Unsportsmanlike Penalties and 1 Personal Foul Penalty
Riverheads makes them pay for it.
Riverheads 14 Essex 7 Half
ESPN 1240 The Boss
-
End of 1st
Riverheads 0
Essex 0
Essex only had one 3 and out with Riverheads having 2 long drives but no points

Just watched the post-game interview with Mookie Collier. Addressed the media as "Sir" , spoke of God's blessings and praise for his team. Impressive young man both on and off the field.

My friend and I were sort of at PV/Appy '97. Left after work and drove 100 miles one-way to get there at game time. Walking up we saw fans 10+ deep around the track. We climbed on top of the park's stone gates, so we could at least get a glimpse of the field for a few minutes. Ended up leaving but listening to the radio broadcast while cruising around western Wise County.

I just keep watching Truck's TD.
I think he broke 7 tackles on a 9 yard run.
-
Champions in 1959, 1962, 1965, 1967, 1975, 1984, 1997, 2004, 2007, 2009, and 2017
-
Mookie recovered it and was down.
-
-
Bluefield was due a break. They got a BIG ONE
-
Bluefield's D is flat-footed
-
I should clarify, I'm referring to the quality of the broadcast, not the officiating.
-
Tonight's my first "game experience", but I can already say WVSSAC > VHSL
