Riverheads will more than likely be 14 point favorites. I don't think Chilhowie will slow down their run game or stop them from scoring but I think the Warriors will be able to score some points of their own. I just hope it's a good game. This will make the 3rd year in a row that I've watched Riverheads in a state game. Riverheads is like Giles. If you stop the run game, you win. But if you try stopping the run game by putting 9 in the box, then you lose.

Riverheads reminds me a lot of Giles.

Both are well-coached, disciplined teams that run an old-school offense to perfection.

Congrats to Appomattox.  Congrats to the bears we’ve had a great season , and honestly we shouldn’t have even been in this game. Richland had us beat then just handed it over to us. We had a great season nothing to hang your head over. I didn’t think one dimensional with not True QB could win . The bears finally to make a game out of it though.

This shart stain is a nothing but a troll. Three different posts he referred to Richland. It's Richlands, and you'd know that if you were really from Union.

Sorry, I thought he was a Freshman. Just the same, my point was Chilhowie didn't have their regular QB in that game. And he did do a great job for his first start in a Varsity game.

But that's not why Chilhowie lost to GW.

Chilhowie lost to GW because they always assume they're going to lose that game.

Oh, Chilhowie did lose to GW, but for those who don't follow the Warriors, Chilhowie QB was injured for that game, so Chilhowie played a Freshman at QB, and that young man did a good job.

Logan Adams played QB against GW.  He is a Sophomore.

I was at the PV/Appy game and I remember people being packed in at least 10 to 15 rows deep around the track. It was crazy packed. I hope tomorrow blows both of those games out on attendance! I would love to see numbers of 12,000 or more there!

My friend and I were sort of at PV/Appy '97.  Left after work and drove 100 miles one-way to get there at game time.  Walking up we saw fans 10+ deep around the track.  We climbed on top of the park's stone gates, so we could at least get a glimpse of the field for a few minutes.  Ended up leaving but listening to the radio broadcast while cruising around western Wise County.
