  1. It's on nfhsnetwork.com You need to have a paid account to watch it
  2. Saw a video of those new lights in action. Very nice.
  3. I hope he is well enough to play, but at the same time, want him to fully heal up before trying to play.
  4. I think Lineplay will be key in this one. Union appears to have good lineplay, as does Graham. Graham has probably 7 or 8 linemen on offense and defense that rotate in and out with no noticeable drop off. There is some youth there, however. If Clements plays and is healthy, I give the edge to Graham. If Clements is out, I think it's a toss up. Graham seems to improve throughout the season these past few years, not sure if they are where they need to be yet to beat Union, without Clements who can be a spectacular player. I agree with Bandana that if Graham can protect Dalton and he manages to have a good night passing the ball, that could be the difference. Graham has some talented and athletic receivers
  5. 3 of the last 4 of these games have now gone in the Bulldogs favor
  6. Jury is out on the Dogs still. It was nice to come back and beat Richlands, but Richlands is 0-3 and scored 36 points on the dogs and had a lot of self inflicted damage in the 2nd half on Monday. I expect a close contest and hope the Dogs pull it out.
  7. Dogs never gave up. Hats off to them.
  8. Richlands was up 30-19
  9. I miss the McDonalds theme being played by the band.
  10. Not so sure Appomattox will finish 8-2, they have Lord Botetourt this week. Could easily start 0-3.
  11. Yes. It will
  12. He may need to sneak in an umbrella.
  13. Yeah, if they wear yellow then the yellow jerseys and white pants works pretty good or the yellow jerseys and maroon pants. But yellow on yellow is jinxed
  14. The uniform color will also play a factor
  15. It will come down to the bus drivers
  16. Never trust maxpreps.
  17. Hoping a dry field favors the dogs. Some costly turnovers inside their own territory, including a pick 6 thrown by the punter aren't helping either. Game is still within reach , but the defense will have to step up for the 2nd half on Monday.
  18. Maxpreps has both Bluefield and Graham playing at Mitchell Stadium oj Friday the 15th. Anybody know ifbeither of those teams are playing on Thursday or Saturday?
  19. Not what I'm hearing at all.
  20. Even with everybody healthy, can't count anybody out in a rivalry like this.
  21. I think the outcome of this game depends on if Creasy can play or not and if he plays, how hampered is he by his injury. I believe Creasy passed for over 400 yards against Richlands last year (somebody correct me if I'm wrong). That's a huge loss for the Dogs, if he doesn't play. I think the Dogs will have enough offense to beat Richlands, but it will be a much closer contest and I wouldn't be surprised if Richlands pulls out the win. With the plethora of quality receivers that the Dogs have, I would imagine that the backup would be working on the short passing game and timing if Creasy is out. I don't know much about the backup QB, I think the Dogs had a different backup last season. It appeared that he settled down a bit during the Riverheads game as the game went along. If he plays and the Dogs can protect him, I think he will do fine, but just not the same as if Creasy were in there. Nevertheless, If I were the Dogs, I would do what I could to get the ball into the hands of my athletes. Those athletes being Logan McDonald, Brody Patterson, Ayvree Zeigler, Reece Mullins and Brock Alley (Yes, even with the cast on). Even if you have to do end-arounds, quick Bubble Screens, Screen Passes, etc... I would also like to see them put a couple of those big linemen in the backfield like Graham did last season to lead block for Zeigler and try to spring him loose with his speed. But hey I'm just a bleacher coach (or couch maybe), just thinking out-loud. Defensively, I think they will be able to keep Richlands out of the end-zone for the most part. I think The Bulldogs will have superior line play and their athletes are fast enough on defense to contain the somewhat limited speed of Richlands. But if they can't score on offense, Richlands may sneak up on them and win this game. I still favor the Dogs to win, with or without Creasy, but it'll be tough if he is out.
  22. If Clements plays, running clock. If not, Graham wins by 21-28.
  23. Marion by 10
  24. They get burned a lot, that's why.
  25. I agree. He had a pretty good outing against Galax throwing the ball. Work on spreading it out and tossing it around, if you can. Jennings can get some good reps in too at RB. Graham needs to demonstrate a good passing game to keep teams from loading the box on them. If Roberts continues to have time to throw it and work on his progressions, it will make Graham even more dangerous.
