  1. They will still be missing a couple, will get a couple back. If they play like they did tonight, I like their chances. Can't wait for next week, PC likes to run a power game, could be an old fashioned slobber knocker.
  2. Agree. The coaches came up with an excellent game plan.
  3. I think that puts Floyd over 200 yards rushing for the night. He has some jets too...
  4. Graham has all the pieces for a power run game. Strong line. Having Hill line up as a blocking back caught me off guard, he is really opening up huge holes. It is fun to watch that big boy go in motion and then clear a path for the running back.
  5. Just counted 13 guys on the field for V-High.... on 4th down.
  6. V-High defense is gassed. Graham running the ball down their throats. Omarri Hill is blasting huge holes and Hughes is a load to bring down. Jamel Floyd is stepping up to show that he would be a starting running back for just about any team around here too. I think they are on to something here. Dang. Graham 21 V-High 14.
  7. Needed that. The Power Run game is a good look for Graham, I like it.
  8. Raley is doing a great job at LB tonight for Graham.
  9. Raley is # 21. I think it's # 54, sorry couldn't see, his jersey is crumpled a little. Omarri Hill....he was blowing up that line big time on that last drive.
  10. Who is # 64 for Graham? They are putting him in the backfield, lead blocking for Hughes and he is blowing the line wide open....
  11. Does anybody know if Bluefield vs. Tazewell will be broadcast tomorrow?
  12. 1981 Regional Championship. Graham vs. Tazewell. "The Snow Bowl".
  13. Well, maybe you should because Tazewell has won 2 of the last 3 against Richlands and the loss was by 1 point on a questionable call. Bulldogs are focused on the present and future, not the past.
  14. Absolutely agree. The past 3 years have been good ballgames to watch.
  15. Bluefield was short handed against PikeView and should be back at full strength, except for Hairston who is out for the season with an injury. This is their homecoming game and they will be motivated to win. Tazewell's defense got exposed big time last night. Richlands spread Tazewell's defense out and Brown was able to pick a lane and run, when the linebackers stepped up to try to tackle him, he dumped it off to a wide open receiver. Bluefield has more athleticism then Richlands and their QB is athletic as well. Tazewell needs to figure something out on Defense. I think they can move the ball and score on Bluefield, but can they stop the Beavers? That will be the big question.
  16. That's the question of the century. I'm sure that answer would vary greatly. But I do see your point, that too many trophies could lessen their meaning.
  17. Yes and Mr. James C. Ramey was a huge part of the Tazewell and Richlands Community. He was greatly respected. How many rivalries across the country have trophies associated with them? Too many to count. You want to call this game the "BackYard Brawl" and associate some meaning to it, there should be a trophy......good grief, people just need to get over it and don't worry about what other teams do. Richlands gets this trophy when they win too, yet nobody gives them a hard time over it. If you don't like it, at least quit being Karens about it.
  18. We may have to wait quite a while for that.. .
  19. I agree. Let those kids and their friends and family celebrate. This is what a true rivalry should be like. Celebrate beating your rival. Enjoy this win Bulldogs!!
