So there’s a lot of things to think about. What are both teams’ tendencies? Does Union do better at home or away? If you were to pick, whom would you pick? I hear Union is a running team. How does Abingdon do against the run?

What I look for in prediction is simple: What are the reasons to pick Union over Abingdon or vice versa?

Man. I get that you have expectations for how we behave on your board. Totally get it. But Jason was trying to lighten the mood. What’s it matter that a team gets a trophy for some game? Tennessee and Kentucky used to have Battle for the Barrel. Let a team enjoy their win. But I will say that a parade is a little much for winning a game that isn’t the state championship.

With us likely getting moisture from Hurricane Ian on Friday, who could be moving their games to Thursday? Unicoi County is scheduled to host Chuckey Doak at 7:30pm on Friday and that’s been moved to Thursday at 7:30pm.
