we have no business in Syria...we have very little business in the middle east overall...they hate us, always will...not because we are free and because we have a different lifestyle than they do...but because we are over there and involved in whatever is going on....all the time...we need to stop wasting money all over the world and worry about the USA. If you think back to WW2 we didn't get involved for a LONG time...not until Japan attacked us. In hindsight that could have even been prevented had people done their jobs. I do find it funny now that the world hates Obama...they were all so happy when he was elected, so much global "hope" for the USA to change course from the Bush era...didn't exactly work out like everyone had hoped it would. The direction our country is headed in now, we are in for some dark days ahead. If Obama and the rest of the idiots in DC push this and actually attack Syria, and that is exactly what they would be doing, then we are screwed...if you don't think Russia knows 91% of the USA doesn't support action against Syria, and think Putin won't use that against us? Prime chance like no other in history, including the Vietnam War, to divide the USA between the people and the morons that represent us in DC. That won't end well for us.

I hate it to, but it's not our job to protect the world, we have enough to take care of at home. Obama has an easy out on this one, no one seems to be talking about it...all he has to do is take this to congress...let them shoot it down and he saves face for the most part. At this point, what are we really going to accomplish? We have broadcast to the Syrians we are going to shoot cruise missiles at the know chemical weapon sites...so what do you think they have done by now? Moved them to civilian safe places like hospitals and schools where they know we can't shoot in to. Any thing we do right now is just stupid and a waste of money...it will have zero effectiveness and will just piss off the Russians and make us look even worse on the world front....it's just not a smart move...nothing about it is smart at this point. If they wanted to act, they should have done so a week ago and not said anything to anyone before hand.

This all (publicly) started with W's "Axis of Evil" speech...they've been methodically screwing around with every one of those countries ever since. The amount of time it takes to ramp up a legit military operation and get the logistics all worked out to attack another country takes years of planning to pull off...in a pinch at the very least months. The Iraq invasion was in the planning for years, they just took the open door 9/11 gave them to execute it. I'd imagine the same is true with Syria and North Korea as well...they see a window of opportunity to forward the agenda and jump on it. Israel is the one who provided all the intel on this, Israel has been wanting to attack Iran for years now, Syria and Iran would both be involved in any conflict and Syria has an air force that could well strike in Israel if it happens. By having the USA take out Syria, it would render that useless. That's what this is all about. The USA is convinced Russia will not go to war, I think they are sadly mistaken and are underestimating Putin...he is a smart man, but has a bit of a "loose cannon" side to him. If Obama goes after Syria without any support, the Russians will for sure jump in...then we have to "HOPE" that the UK will join us at that point....if not, it's going to get really ugly...really fast.

If France is your only friend in a war, you are in big trouble. The USA has become a hypocrite in the eyes of the rest of the world. Gitmo and what we did in Iraq has cost us our high ground on human rights over the long haul. That's the straight up truth, but a lot don't want to admit it.

The UN is a paper giant...nothing more...any "force" the UN has comes from the USA and the UK...other than that no one else really gives a crap. I would love to see the UN dissolved.

Richlands was "beatable" back in the 70's and 80's...they have been all but invincible in the district, for the most part, since Mance took over. None of the old SWD teams, even Abingdon, were really pushovers...SWD was a strong district for many years.

Russians have previously threatened to attack Saudi Arabia if the USA steps in to Syria. Everyone likes to think things are well in balance, but stuff could get sideways fast. Don't under estimate the Russians and what they will do under Putin.

I'm sick of it, and i'm not alone...just saw a poll, yeah i know there are a zillion polls, but latest numbers on public opinion in the USA of the USA going to war with Syria is 91% against it...9% approval...can't imagine this going over well with many at home. Now, seems the intel they are basing all of this on came from Israel...I don't know what the exact deal is here, but I don't like it...something is not right with this whole story.
