I didn't know this until a few minutes ago, but did you know the first time the Hokies played ECU was in 1956 in Bluefield. Hokies won the game 37-2. Interesting.

SalsaRita's......love that place. I used to eat there all the time when I was in Charlotte. They have one in Huntersville. The Burrito's are about the size of a nerf football.......

exit 16B, Sunset Road. Bubba's BBQ. At the top of the exit, you have to turn right onto Sunset, go through one traffic light and Bubba's is on your left. Exit 16B is just North of Charlotte, the last exit before you cross over I-85 on I-77.

Sorry to not have a link available, but I received a tech sideline email, it had a short article on it. He was arrested from an ongoing drug bust there. Apparently, he sold drugs to a undercover cop there at the school.

During lunch today I was flipping channels and stopped on the court show, Best Defense. They had a guy who was originally from Clintwood on there as the defendant from an alleged street racing death. I guess he had moved to Tenn during his freshman year of high school. I don't know if Best Defense is "live" coverage in the court rooms, or delayed several months. Does anyone know anything about this? I don't know if we have any Clintwood posters on here.

I had no respect for the guy to begin with, but Belichick really showed his class by walking off the field and leaving his team out there.

Independence had a few players dismissed from their team before the state game due to concerns if they were eligible or not. They had some issues with the addresses for some of the players on the team.

I couldn't believe it when I saw some old codger on the chain gang this past friday night in shorts......I believe he works over at the middle school through the week, maybe as a janitor or something.
