Just my opinion, but I think it's up to the family on where the kids go to school. Nothing illegal about it so what's the problem? I graduated from GC and have a 2 month old daughter. Good Lord willing, she'll be a Lady Devil one day. Kids have left GC to attend other schools. Had a basketball player do it just this year and I wish him the best.

I've heard everything from it's in a museum somewhere to someone stole it. I'm not sure if anyone knows where it is. I can remember hearing it in Weber City (Moccasin Gap) on the way to the ball games and it always had me fired up as a youngster. I sure miss it.

Holds 5,000 but add in everybody else and I'm sure it was well over 6,000. Just a great game.

We have alot of skill to replace next year, but we always seem to fill those holes. I overheard a fella yesterday as I was leaving say that he had never seen or heard a crowd at a high school game like that in his life. That's testament to both teams, schools, and communities. I absolutely hate GC lost, but at least it was to a team that I respect. I honestly don't see anyone beating Richlands. Go get em Blues!

Man... I am already getting fired up for this game. I will say that Saturday's game was one of the more satisfying wins personally as a GC fan. :) Oh well I am tired and need to get my rest, I have to go up and relieve Quincy and take over watering the field at 2am

I wouldn't doubt if Richlands didn't have more at GC last Saturday than Buckingham. If people can't get excited this time of year then they need their pulse checked.

I hope my blue tornados win...but for us or gate city to win it all i hate to say it but that road is gonna have to run through giles co....but thats to far down the road..im gonna say blues 34 gate city 28..

I normally don't do this, and the majority knows I usually wouldn't.... but Buckingham you can kiss our azz. Lesson delivered.

#11 totally had a meltdown... he got a personal foul for a deadball cheap shot on Herron, then he kept going back fighting his own players. I have never seen a player that out of his head. He got another for pushing through his players and going after him 30 - 45 secs after the first. after being ejected, he had to be restrained on the bench, then he ran onto the field about a series later and the referees ushered him back off, somehow not eliciting another penalty flag. When other kids were shaking hands after the game he was 25yds away with two assistant coaches keeping him from going over there...

True...but the day that GC players act like that is the day I stop supporting them.

I agree, but that's my point: GC wouldn't field a team that would act that way. Coaches wouldn't allow a team with the attitudes and lack of discipline we saw today. Any GC coach or future GC coaches that did allow it would be run out of town by the fan base.
 
A proud, storied program will not allow the actions of a few to destroy the work of many.
