  1. Might also join the CMD for soccer. Outside of Honaker, only the CMD schools have soccer programs, with Honaker competing in the CMD.
  2. Bucs playing pretty well and hanging in there, not shooting well though...down by 3 at the half.
  3. Coy hasn't been playing much, its been mainly Hamlin. Hubbard's back in the lineup now too, been a big part of the run in the conference tourney.
  4. For those that don't already know, the games can be followed online (online broadcast and stat feed). Both links are on the Siegel Center's website (and on VCU's). NRVsports.com is also going to cover the games (TV/East Mont.; Floyd/Lee; Narrows/Bland, and JR/Radford). http://www.siegelcenter.com/ http://www.nrvsports.com/

  8. Floyd County wins 63-41. Lee High will take on Floyd County in the semis.
  9. As already posted, East Mont won over Appy. Floyd County 24 Honaker 18 at the half. Artrip playing in pain after hurting her ankle early in the game. Rowman got into foul trouble early also (picked up 3). But Honaker hanging on. They led 12-7 after the 1st qt.
  10. According to WAXM, Bland County won 48-30. Narrows beat Council by about 14.
  11. Don't know a score but for anyone interested WAXM ( http://www.waxm.com/ ) is carrying the Appy-East Mont. game (1:45 start), may have an update on the Burton game. They'll also have the Castlewood-Radford game. NRVsports is covering the Honaker-Floyd Co. girls game. http://www.nrvsports.com/index.php

  15. I'd seen in a couple of papers, and a post on preps, that had $10 and $8 from the school in advance. Again, not that it really matters that much, just was curious.
  16. I was just wondering...not that it was that big of a deal or anything.
  17. I've seen the prices listed as $10 and $8, which is it??
  18. It was nearing a 100 in Texas just a few short days ago.... no protests there? lol

  20. A big nothing over this way (other than some brief light snow flurries early this morning)....ah, yet so close, but not close enough..again. :(
  21. Div. 1 girls and boys games on WAXM. Burton/Council girls getting ready to start, TV/Appy boys game to follow at about 4 p.m. http://www.waxm.com/
  22. We could end up in the middle of both systems and see very little, but a little shift west in that coastal low or if dynamic cooling is stronger with this first one Saturday night, then that changes everything, haha. Doesn't help when the models can't agree on much. Therefore you don't see any confidence in the forecasts. Seems though we're always stuck on the wrong side and just miss the heavy snows a 100 miles in either direction.
