  1. Just saw in the May 30th Issue of Sports Illustrated that she was in Faces in the Crowd. Congrats!
  2. haha.. got this in an email, had to share..
  3. 2003 Falcons went 6-5, won the Highlands but the 2nd place team was 4-6. Abingdon only beat one SWD team (Tazewell 13-9) and they went 1-9 that year. 2003 was the last year of the Highlands. I know Abingdon, Marion, and Virginia High were in it but was Lee in the Highlands at the time? I know they were previously but in the back of my mind they dropped to single A before '03.
  4. Yea Im pretty sure the South East Virginia Officials Assocation uses numbers, I dont know if anyone else does though. I dont know who does Poquoson's games but I dont think VHSL allows 'home' officials after region semi's or finals.
  5. That’s not entirely true. I guess it depends on if you rank your teams by overall record, conference record, ranking, or fans attendance. Since 2005 the ACC Championship runner up has only been invited to the Bowl once, (2010 FSU). The SEC Championship runner up has played in it twice since 2003, (LSU and South Carolina). But here are the rankings in overall record I think. 2003 – Clemson 3rd vs Tennessee 4th 2004 – Miami 3rd vs Florida 5th 2005 – Miami 3rd vs LSU 2nd * 2006 – Virginia Tech 3rd vs Georgia 6th 2007 – Clemson 4th vs Auburn T-4th 2008 – Georgia Tech T-3rd vs LSU 5th 2009 – Virginia Tech 3rd vs Tennessee 5th 2010 – FSU 2nd * vs South Carolina 2nd*

  16. I think officiating varies throughout the state. None of the associations are ran the same with on or off the field training and some use crews while others just mix guys every week. The associations also are different with using anywhere from 5-7 man crews on Friday nights.

  18. 1-19?? I dont think Tazewell went 0-10 since 1997 or 1998 i think.. somewhere around there.. but it was 4-16 (3-7 '02 and 1-9 '03) then the playoff runs..
  19. Richlands (4-0) – 22 Grundy (4-0) – 21 Cave Spring (3-2) – 20.2 Martinsville (2-3) – 16.4 Marion (3-1) – 15 Tunstall (2-3) – 11.8 Graham (0-4) – 10.25 Patrick Co. (0-5) – 9.2 Tazewell (0-5) – 8.2
  20. Also the last time Tazewell beat Richlands.. Does anyone know the overall series? I know Richlands is leading now, just thought it'd be interesting to see. On vhsl-reference it shows Tazewell is 3-9 since 1999.. I think this game might be like the 2006 game. A game down to the wire for ppl that dont remember haha.. 61-0
