I described it as getting the better of him on one play (3 extra yards after contact from a 165 lb Freshman vs a 230 lb VT recruit is IMHO getting the better of at least on that play I am sure that anyone with video of the game can find plenty of plays where the scrip was flipped so to speak ) How did you think it was described? That being said Atkins has plenty of potential but he did come out of nowhere last season (I dont think he even started a game until around week 3 and did not truly come into his on until midway through the season) If he stays focused and works hard he will be tough to slow down

Got the better of (not trucking) the play I am thinking about was a 10 yardish run with about 3 extra yards after contact sure it is modest as far as highlights go but still as good a go as a HS freshman vs VT Signee can go LOL (If I can find the clip I will post it)

IMO Sproles is a very good runner I have no idea how good of a passer he is but he needs to be good enough to keep teams from stacking the box. How well the QB position plays will go a long way to how successful RV will be this season

I hope so but I think replacing our QB from last year will be tough he was a solid passer and a runner that you had to respect. If Ridgeview can find a QB that can be a legit passing threat they will be tough this season

Think it was around 40 but he had a hell of a kickoff return and one highlight run getting the better of Mitchel. I am excited to see Adkins play at 25 pounds heaver than last season by the end of the season he was running with alot more power than he did at the start of the season

Thanks for the info looking at the current points and remaining schedules spots 3 through 6 are going to be decided by 2 or 3 points This is how I see the seating at the standing at year end for Girls at least 1) Central has 3 tough Games left but do not look to be caught by anyone 2) Ridgeview 2 Tough games left 3) Lebanon only 1 tough game left and 3 that should be wins 4) VHS - Easiest end of year schedule with 1 Tough game and 5 that they should finish no worse that 4-1 with 5) Union - If they finish 3-2 the rest of the way they will finish here but and upset over Central or Abington could get them up to #3 6) GC - finishing up 2-2 or better can move them up to #2 or #3 7) Tazewell - finishing the season 5-1 is doable but as loaded as there schedule is with 1A teams I don't see them able to move up in points any 8) Battle - 2-4 is how I see the rest of there schedule and to move up I think they would have to go at least 5-1 and I do not think that is possable

It will be interesting, I think Graysons best chance is to take the air out of the ball and try to control the clock. RV on the other hand needs to force Grayson to spread out there D and cover there playmakers in space. The limited film I saw of Grayson did not make me think that they were overly big (I am sure that they will be bigger than RV given that has been the case for the 1st 10 games this season) I would be interested in the opinions of Marion since they played them earlier in the season On a side note This will also be Gaysons 1st game on Artificial turf and while I don't think that in itself is that big a deal there local paper had quoted there coach in saying that they would have to get access to practicing on turf this week and IMHO taking a team out of there routine can be a bigger deal.

It is the playoffs lose and you go home every team is under pressure unless they are just happy to be there and I am sure that is not the case with Richlands I think Union is the stronger team but I do worry that there lack of diversity on offence will hurt them somewhere along the way and a team like Richlands that is used to playing late in the playoffs almost every season and has been seasoned with tough games all season and has a famaluorty with Union is in a position to pull a 8 vs 1 upset That being said I think Union is the better team and should win this one all be it much closer that traditional 8 vs 1 seat games
