  1. Kinda feel bad for the players on South Charlestons team that weren't involved in the situation. Especially the seniors

  3. Urban Meyer stepping down at Florida http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=5899478 Urban Meyer is stepping down as football coach at Florida, the school's athletic director announced Wednesday. "I fully grasp the sacrifices my 24/7 profession has demanded of me, and I know it is time to put my focus on my family and life away from the field," Meyer said. "I will profoundly miss coming to campus every day to coach this team, but I will always be a Gator at heart," he said. A news conference was scheduled for 6 p.m. ET on Wednesday. Meyer will coach his last game for Florida in the Outback Bowl against Penn State on Jan. 1 in Tampa. The Gators, who won two national championships and two Southeastern Conference titles under Meyer, had a disappointing season in 2010, going 7-5 (4-4 SEC). A year ago, Meyer announced he was retiring over health concerns, only to back away from that a day later and announce he was taking a leave of absence from coaching. He was back to his regular routine before spring practice A three-time national coach of the year, Meyer posted a 64-15 record in six seasons at Florida. He also coached at Utah and Bowling Green.
  4. Wannstedt to the Denver Broncos is the new rumor
  5. Bluefield hasen't "taken" players from anyone..... Lets not let this thread get off topic though... The kid deserves congratulations on a great season and he is mature enough to give positive comments about the other players on his team
  6. Very respectable comments by the young player. Congrats to him and goodluck in the State Championship game
  7. Wow, very surprised of the outcome...However it is correct
  8. Alot of WVU fans are taking this way to serious...It's ridiculous to even think it's going to happen Someone even decided to create a facebook page....Idiots.... http://www.facebook.com/pages/Morgantown-WV/Bring-Nick-Saban-Home/158412347531569
  9. I think BEERHEER on bluegoldnews is a dumba$$ just trying to get attention to put some sort of excitement in his depressing life...
  10. I purchased 5 tickets to the WVU/NC State game for $155 ($31 a piece) off stubhub earlier today. Figured why not, since the WVU ticket office is selling them for $65
  11. So they are saying the National Champion would have to potentially play 17+ games in one season? That's not ever going to happen... Reason #1: Major conflicts with players school schedules/exams Reason #2: 17+ games for a college program is ridiculous Reason #3: every other logical reason
  12. It's all good, I wasen't trying to be rude. I think the Orange bowl and Fiesta bowl matchups will be flip-flopped tho. Orange Bowl- VT vs Stanford Fiesta Bowl- Oklahoma vs Uconn
  13. My sisters bought my mom one last week for her birthday as well. I'm not a fan of it though since it only makes 8-10 ounces of coffee at a time.
  14. I prefer coffee from my coffee pot in my kitchen over most places, including starbucks. Every now and then I'll get some type of cold coffee drink from starbucks. Back to the subject of the thread though, this year the BCS worked out just like it's supposed to. However I still believe we are in need of a 8 team playoff. Hopefully with time, this will happen.
  15. I didn't realize we have two Orange Bowls this year?? lol I could really go for some Starbucks right about now tho, this snow is BS
  16. Safe travels to everyone on the road to the games today!
  17. We all have rough days every now and then. I've said many things in the past that I regret to this day, but you just have to put in behind you and move on. For many, a simple apology is hard to come by these days but glad to see you stepped up and understood where we were coming from. No harm, no foul.
  18. Magnolia: 28 Ravenswood: 7 In the middle of the 3rd quarter Magnolia led 28-0 at halftime
  19. I'm so used to Friday night games, haha...Goodluck tomorrow Blues!!
