I really hope the Dawgs win, but I just dont see a young Taz team going into Hillsville and beating an experienced CC team.

Man i am from Tazewell and i even agree with you guys that the people from Tazewell that get on here are crazy. Most of them are just ignorant kids at the high school and the rest of them are ignorant adults that dont know what they are talking about, but anyways Richlands hands down has the best Defense in the area and if Graham dont stay within 21 points of them they will not be in a close game in SWD play this year.

housewright got redshirted last year...he is a redshirt freshman this year who just aint gonna get to dress so he dont have a # so they have him up top with all the other people who either didnt make the roster or are getting redshirted

V-High will murder Abingdon 42-14 Richlands will murder Grundy 35-7 Graham will me in a good game with Blacksburg but i think they pull it out in the end 28-21

Good game to the bulldogs, they really really really needed this one. Lebanon is probablly one of if not the worse team Tazewell plays all year, and even though they won the game that will not get the job done in two weeks against Carrol County. The defense plays the run well, but have not been able to even remotely stop the pass, or a scrambling QB. The Bulldogs need to worry a little bit less about getting the crowd pumped up and a little more about makeing big stops or big first downs. Overall it was a good game, but even with two weeks to get ready for CC i dont see them going to Hillsville and beating a team that is quite a bit better than Lebanon. Good Luck and Good Game. Ok here is my two cents on the GW game, take it for what its worth. The defense surprised me a lot, they looked as though they picked up right where they left off last year, but the offense is a completely different story. It was like Jeckel and Hyde. The defense looked as though it's on pace to compete for the region championship again, but the offense looked like they might be competing to win just one game. To have a shot at the playoffs this year the defense is going to have to pitch shutouts or close to. I think the offense will struggle again next week, with Lowe more than likely still out with an injured ankle, and their other tackle out for getting ejected for throwing a punch which is COMPLETELY inexcusable and really hurt the team (he would defiantly be paying for that little stunt for the next two weeks if I were coach). If the Dogs are to pull one out next week it will be by the skin of their teeth, I just don’t know if its going to happen. Just play hard and keep your chins up fellas. Go Dawgs!

the second game is gonna be awesome...its gonna be like loseing the superbowl then being able to go back and re-do it. I think that this HUGE win for the G-Men will carry them this season. They may surprise some people this year, and with 17 juniors the future is looking very bright for Graham.

I think that Richlands might as well pick up their Region championship trophy and start getting ready to play Christiansburg in the State-Semis. ( Maybe me saying that will jinxs them haha j/k)

I do not have a doubt in my mind that he will go there and do somethin weather it be mop-up time or special teams or what, but i think he will definatlly get on the feild at one point or another this year.

Statisticlly speaking Thad Wells dont match up to some of these guys, but i think that you would have to mention him on this list for the simple fact that without him last year Richlands would not have had the type of season that they had. What about Adam Lallande(spelling) or Tommy Kenne werent they both good QBs in their day?

Muncey went up there to be a Fullback, but about a week and a half ago he was asked to move to middle linebacker so that he could possible get some special teams time as a freshman.

Wise is NAIA therefore they cannot give athletic scholarships.

I think that fact that Tazewell pitched one of their JV pitchers against you all had a little something to do with it...i donno why they werent hitting....i guess its hard to get up and ready for a game that you dont care about playing

he would surprise you. we blitzed him from every angle the whole game and only sacked him once or twice. he was harder to try and stop than Ahmad was.

man you are crazy. Bluefield was the real deal this year. I watched them played, and i played against Gretna. I think that Bluefield could have gave Gretna one hell of a run for their money, they might have even been better.

personally i didnt think Casey had all that good of a senior year from the batters box.

Burton might not be as strong? This year the kid bench pressed 290, Squats over 400 and last year Power Cleaned over 280. HAHA if thats not considered strong for someone who weights about 225-230 i would sure like to know what is?

I dont think that tazewell threw three passes against Graham they didnt need too. I know for a fact the Bovey didnt have 2 or 3 sacks. Hes lucky if he had 2 or 3 tackles in the two games combined. Definatlly not the same factor he was his soph. year. I would expect him to have a big sr. year thou.

Burton and Angle from Tazewell also got invites to that camp this summer at Penn State. They will be in the running for the title of best lineman in the SWD this up comeing year.

Muncey is getting alot of looks from alot of I-AA schools and about every div II school around this area....Wilson wants to play somewhere but is not sure...he is leaning towards E&H or Wise....Cleaver went to E&H today and is going to check out Concord sat.....same for Evans.
