Is it set in stone that the 4 teams playing tonight are in the region tourny representing the sourthwest or is it possible that Tazewell could get in since they were 4th in the regular season, as everyone said there doesnt seem to be much by way or criteria for making it to region

I am not sure short of banning them from the building what the school board can do, they arent a school sanctioned activity like a team or anything, whats to stop them from getting there and forming a cheering section they paid for the ticket

Back to talking about the game it was awesome there for a couple of minutes when Pauley (personally I dont care where he is from seems to be a class act) and McGee where trading buckets back and forth

Man I was there too leaned right against the trophy case talking as I said, I can't say what was said I honestly cant for all I know something may have been said just saying I never even saw them look at him but I can say without a doubt no girl came to that deputy I was talking to him the whole time, she might have ran looking for one but it was not the one that came over. I personally think it was just high school boys being stupid thats what high school boys do no suprise just saying both sides were classless last night at times it takes two to tango.

No girl came to get that deputy he saw what was happening and went over I was talking to him, the Richlands kid must have called him a bunch of stuff quick because he never stopped when he was coming from the bathroom until he was getting screamed at granted maybe I didn't hear everything but the kid never stopped walking who supposedly called him "a bunch" of stuff. To address my little friends I have never even seen the Richlands kid before last night but until he was screaming at them I never even saw them look his way.

Yeah I personally observed all that class that Tazewell has during halftime when I watched one of their golden boys escorted out by the sheriffs office for trying to pick a fight with someone half his size and dont act like it didnt happen I watched it with my own two eyes and was standing there talking to the deputy when it happened. I also heard numerous cuss words at the officials that takes quite a bit of class too. It cracks me up when both sides act like jerks and one takes the high road like they are just full of class. I am from Richlands and dont like some of the things that get chanted by the Richlands fans but both sides are just as bad.

Have you watched the news for the past 4 years, this economy is down the drain and has been long before Barak took over, what exactly is your definition of down the drain if we arent there yet I would hate to see when we get there

i just wonder why AB didnt play that much this year he didnt get many carries at all, I figure it could have been a way of punishing him for last years off season or what I hope is the case is that they were increasing Ward's trade value and AB will be the 2nd back next year

Never heard any chants about Rasnick and I was there the entire time, they had chants about the others but I never heard a word about Rasnick

Yeah he lost to Miller in the finals I think either 3-2 or 5-2 I was trying to listen to it

Yeah it would be great to see them get 14 kids out to wrestle coach Burton does a great job with the few he has and has a good middle school little league turnout they just won't stay with it all the way through

Yeah Cutler was a good pick and Eddie had a great rookie campaign I hope he can carry that over but how about Maurice Clarett 4 rounds to early Ashlie Lelie a little to early and never did anything for the Broncos, Jarvin Moss and Tim Crowder have done nothing dont forget the wonderful signing of Travis Henry cost millions I think we got like 4 games out of him, who knows what happened to Boss Bailey, dont forget the signing of Niko Koutouvides and Dewayne Robertson who was payed nearly $200K per tackle this year, and if we are going to give him credit for Cutler then we also have to let him take a hit for Griese. The defense has been bad for years but the last 2 particularily bad it was time for a fresh look and to get a GM in to make personel decisions not the head coach

I am a Bronco fan and think that Shanahan is a great coach but it was past time to freshen things up a bit he was in control of the last 10 drafts and made horrible picks and the ones that werent horrible picks werent developed well at all, I think you need a strong GM and a head coach much like the Dolphins set up Shanahan wasnt willing to give up the personel control thats why he is gone. Hope he catches on and does well and also hope that the Broncos land Mangini and pray they dont land that arrogant little jerk Stoops

I dont know the prognosis but it was good to see him in the free press this week playing basketball glad to see he can still do some of the things he loves

Anyone know why Dalton Cox didnt wrestle?

Several wrestlers represented the region well this weekend at the Beast of the East arguably one of the best tournys in the country with 4 of the top 10 teams represented including number 1 Blair Academy. 112 Devin Carter-Christiansburg- 2nd seeded 2nd thats where he ended up 171 Braden Carter- Christiansburg-7th seeded 6th I believe 215 John Weber- Christiansburg- CHAMPION seeded 7th and came on to win the thing 275 Andrew Miller- Bassett- 4th seeded 1st lost two very close matches I believe both were in overtime

Not sure the matches have been quite that close seems like I remember Miller beating him pretty badly last year at regions, Drew was the 2nd best heavy in the state last year he gave Miller a much better match than the guy did in the finals, actually I just checked and Miller was the number 1 junior in the nation last year and 12th overall with every one above him a senior so this year he should probably be number 1 overall the major reason that Drew is not ranked is the fact that Miller wrestles so many more off season tournys he goes to freestyle nationals and those type of tournys thats where you get ranked at not during your high school season

You mean all 3 seconds right he will be lucky to go a minute with Drew a first year wrestler no matter how strong is not going to jump right in and wrestle with a guy who has been doing it his whole life region heavy weight is pretty strong, Dowdy is not bad, Cox from Grundy will hold his own for the most part, Hidden Valley has a pretty good one, thats 3 tough ones in the region without even counting the two best Drew and top 10 in the country Andrew Miller, the guy from graham no matter how strong or good at football will have a long year
