  1. so i just checked WikiLeaks and there were secret government documents leaked showing that the US Government was conspiring to keep Richlands from winning the State Championship :D
  2. I was watching Letterman last night and Rachel Maddow was on the show. She hit the nail on the head with Obama. He and his campaign had GREAT ideas, but the problem was getting those great ideas into great/good outcomes.
  3. The way it looks, with Fajardo farther downfield from the WR, there could have been illegal contact before the ball was thrown. Always a possibility, or right as the ball was thrown a small shove. But it's hard to tell since I was not there, and most people are watching the QB until he throws the ball. Refs might have seen something no one else saw because they were focused on the QB.
  4. BYU Fresno St. Troy Southern Miss Boise St. Navy Hawaii Toledo Gerogia Tech WVU Missouri Maryland Baylor Oklahoma State SMU Kansas St. Tennessee Nebraska South Florida Miami Georgia South Carolina Texas Tech Penn State Alabama Michigan TCU* Oklahoma* Stanford* Arkansas* Miami (OH) LSU Pitt Nevada BCS NC Game Oregon (87)
  5. Fajardo did not turn his head to find the ball, I'm not sure about high school, but in NFL and college that is automatic PI almost every single time.
  6. Or is it, you just didn't specify that your friends are the ones that the VHSL reps talked to??? Because the context clues for that post say that your friends are the VHSL reps.
  7. So, let me spell this out for you slowly, in....this....post....you....said....friends...of....mine...regarding....the....VHSL....reps....now....you....say....they....aren't....your....friends.....make....up...your...mind...
  8. Okay, since you want to make fun of other people when they question you like a 5 year old does, let me rephrase my question. Imagine that, YOUR FRIENDS apologizing and telling you to file a grievance, that isn't bias to you????????? Of course, your friends are going to tell you they are sorry. Your statements about the VHSL reps and mainly everything else have just lost all credibility.
  9. So, you are saying that the VHSL reps are your friends from Richlands???? No wonder they told you to file a grievance and apologized after the game....Being from around this area and coming on this site frequently isn't bias or anything.
  10. only fast food burger i will eat is Whataburger when i make my pancakes i have to put vanilla and cinammon in them chili with no beans only on hotdogs or burgers, chili with beans to eat alone anything fried (minus fried beer, tried it at the Texas State Fair, TERRIBLE) i will eat nothing with nuts in it, but i will eat peanuts or cashews out of a jar or can beans have to be made with a hambone put in them (and cornbread is only made in a circular pan)
  11. because everyone is out to get Richlands and keep them from winning a 2A state championship in va high school football? wow, get over yourselves, the refs were not "out to get Richlands" as you have made it seem, of course you are going to say they were bogus because they were against your team.
  12. they cannot effect the outcome, if refs are calling things tight, you adjust. when you boil it down, it comes out to discipline and coaching changes.
  13. at least 9 wins a season, sorry. and the only reason VT has that streak was because Texas' streak was broken this year. Texas did have a terrible season, and someone eluded to the fact that even in other rebuilding years it wasn't this bad, that's true. HOWEVER, in those other years, Texas didn't try changing the dimension of their offensive scheme. if they would have kept the same scheme they have been using, i believe we would have come out with at least 7 wins this year. Texas is not a power running team, never will be. that was THE biggest mistake of this year was trying to develop a power running game with the type of athletes we had on the edges. with new OC and DC coming in next year, i'm hoping we go back to the spread type offense because Gilbert can run it IMO. if he puts on a few pounds in the weightroom i see him becoming a big time QB for Texas. he can run fairly well already, and most of his INT's this year came off tipped balls, drops, and the like.
  14. glad to see someone saw i was being sarcastic, but seriously, refs never decide the outcome of a game, they can make a change in a gameplan, but if the refs were calling penalties all day then it's up to the coaching staff and the players to make adjustments to them, same goes in soccer. if the refs aren't giving you something or they are giving you something then you have to take what you can and stop doing things that get called. Richlands might be a decent football team (i say decent after watching VA football for 11 or so years and then moving back to TX and see how they really play) and win a few state championships, but it seems like every time Richlands loses, there is someone else to blame, it's never that they got outplayed.
  15. It's not over the top at all! Richlands is the best team in the country, no way they could have lost in the state championship of VA AA football!
  16. It might have been in the best interest of him if Tim Tebow was still there. BUT, the Gators are spiraling down and there is no hope for them IMO. He will regret this in a few years when he is losing most of his games. I think the future looks grim for Florida, I've been telling my friends that are Florida fans that all year.
  17. we had a bad year, a rebuilding year, most of the O-line were new faces, new quarterback, tried to develop a running game, spotty D, lots of turnovers (which happen with younger players) and things like that when it comes to rebuilding years. i won't say they were good this year, but look out for them next year cause Mack Brown is one of THE BEST coaches in the country. if Texas were in the ACC they could finish with 9 wins every season too, BUT we didn't lose to JMU :) hahahaha
  18. exactly! he was not screwed out of the Heisman race in any way, shape or form. he's just another good college QB that will probably amount to a back up job in the NFL if that. no disrespect to him, but i don't see him doing well in the NFL system after being under Stiney.
  19. i kinda want to know what this sign said now that i've seen all the uproar it's caused haha
  20. as a Texas fan, i hope he gets destroyed year in and year out by every single school he plays, TRAITOR! getting paid 900K a year as an assistant, and being the next coach for Texas, and leaving that for Florida, wow. i know we had a down year, but it's a rebuilding year, the O-line was garbage, Garrett Gilbert couldn't get in any kind of a groove, and the D wasn't as strong as it could have been, but leave after one bad year?
  21. i think a normal scenario is playing JMU at home, and losing. yep, that sounds pretty normal, this entire thread is a joke because not only is the ACC weak, but Tyrod Taylor very well should have been left out of the Heisman race, he has no place even being talked about for a shot at the Heisman, and why does it matter anyway? everyone knew Newton was gonna win it in a landslide. did TT even finish in the top 3 for any of the other awards?
  22. best coffee i've ever had is 8 o'clock coffee, made in a Keurig.
  23. well to my last post, who does the Big 12 pick up, if anyone at all? i thought TCU had the best chance of going.
  24. this hasn't really made HUGE headlines in the DFW area but i haven't checked out the glorious sports section the past few days from the Dallas Morning, i'm honestly surprised they didn't go to the Big 12 since they are losing Nebraska and Colorado and because TCU was in the Southwest Conference back in the day. oh and just to let everyone who thinks football playoffs are big in SWVA, i opened the sports section a few weeks back and two whole pages were the state playoff brackets, just for 4A and 5A, crazy but i loved it haha.
