the BDD took care of business tonight haysi 28-7 over lee and I think the hurley score was 48-6(but it was against tug valley)

I dont know alot about high school once I get past graham but 3 things I do know is 1 this guy may know sports but he is not exactly an expert on high school ball 2chicken wing offense my a$$, the single wing is a very good offence that is making a comeback 3 JI Burton is for real as long as they dont have anyone get hurt they can play with anyone in A and alot of the AA teams

I didnt mean to get hateful it just seems that some people look at the prisions as saviors and they are not,only an alternative. consolidation is coming weather everybody wants it or not bigger schools mean a better education for students and that is above school loyalty or any thing else. but it is hard not to think about sports

prisons dont increase population only jobs example 1 keen mountain. did it increase the population of oakwood/garden NO example 2 red onion. did it increase the population of clintwood/pound NO all they did is give people an alternative to coal mining I honestly dont see TC consolidating except for pocy/graham but I do see WC consolidating soon simply because it doesent make sence to keep 6 schools open pound is 5 minutes from JJ kelly. appalachia is right beside powell valley and St. paul is about 5 minutes from coeburn the only school that wont consolidate is JI burton because they are a city school not county. next will be DC because we simply cant afford to build 3 or even 2 new schools the new school would be built in clinchco which is 20 mins from cwood, 15 from haysi, and 10 from ervinton. BC will be next hurley,and council are small and Twin valley is a product of consolidation (that has went very smooth)and is still small. BC would have two schools just close council and send those students to TV, close hurley and send them to grundy

I watched the clintwood/grundy game and cwoods dline looked dominating and they are good but not that good. its hard to run carrying a defender with you. so much talent for marcum I would think the grundy line could manage to be descent, not trying to talk trash but it is true

the thing with consolidation is everyone will be doing it DC,BC,TC, and WC so it could end up one big district but im getting way ahead of myself

the same is true for dickenson and buchannon county example if dc schools consolidated now then we would be AA but in the next 5-10 years we would move back down to A

im with rebel05 on grundy the only graham would have a chance at staying up is to close pocy and I dont think that will do it,tazewell will have to move down this all depends on the VHSL and if they will use the power they have and straighten things out I personally like the way the REG D would look under the reclassification and I think it is best for all involved

I dont think graham,tazewell,grundy,and Vhigh will be in reg c because it is allready bigger than reg d and dropping those teams down will make the reg d bigger even things out but this all could be for nothing because the VHSL really has things messed up and will probally make it worse WHATS WRONG WITH A 4A SYSTEM that seems the easiest route to me

betsy lane embarasing but better 10 teams than 9 but we also have played clintwood and a descent rye cove team not to mention lee grundy and letcher coming up who has hurley played (non district) mighty big creek ,montclaim im not trying to put hurley down but that 6-0 record doesent tell the whole story what team of any real quality has hurley played I dont want to get into a strength of schedule arguement. But two big tests coming up for hurley and I think the rebels will fail both. But I am glad to see hurley improve get ready for the playoffs appy JIB and rye cove will be tough
