Freedom of speech isn't inalienable in the eyes of the U.S. Constitution and its derivative case law, because time/place/manner restrictions of free speech are upheld under strict scrutiny if the government can show that the restriction will further a compelling governmental interest.  Go try to hold an anti-war rally on a military base and see exactly how free your speech is.  Sure, it may be in whatever John Locke-inspired philosophical universe the "natural rights" crowd inhabits.  But we're clearly not in some ivory tower.  We're out of the state of nature, baby.  We've submitted to Rousseau's sovereign, and that sovereign says you don't get the unfettered right to say anything and everything all the time.  It's a cute bumper sticker.  But it's wrong.  Wrong.  Wrong.

As you deal with Political Science, I deal with law.  Daily.  I've paid good money and put in long hours for the privilege.  And the Constitution, namely the First Amendment, is in the heart of my wheelhouse, mi amigo.  We're not talking philosophy.  We're talking the rule of law. 

Don't you love it when someone says "I could go into all the reasons and excuses people gave for losing that game (like the kid who caught the winning TD was actually juggling the ball and never had possession until he was out of bounds) but I won't do that", and then they go on to make several more excuses?  And then they go on and on about how much more they "know about football" than everybody else?  I just love it when that happens, don't you?

Time is here. Game is primetime tomorrow night. There are so many story lines in this game. Manning returns. Luck vs. Manning. AFCs best against an AFC contender. Irsays legacy. Luck stepping out of the shadow. Etc.....  I've been a Colts fan since 98-99ish. So this game is going to be absolute hell on me. Don't get me wrong, I'm a Colts fan first. But seeing the man who made us what we are come back in a different jersey is going to be rough. 
 
All that said, I truly believe the Colts have a chance to win. Landry is back. It's at home. The Drum will be loud and crazy. I just think this is our time to shine.

The answer lies in the feeder program. It doesn't matter how good of athletes you have, if your feeder program doesn't instill the right attitude, work ethic, and fundamentals, then you will not succeed. Look at the big programs in the area, then look at their feeders. There inlies the key.

I had forgotten why i dislike the folks from Tazewell until this year.  Their true colors finally showed back up

Epic.  Never, Never, Never.....Could you possibly cry a little more?

Wasn't the better team? Dude, what are you drinking? Tazewell has won what 8 games in the last 10 years, OK maybe a few more, but I'm close. Even when we are down, Tazewell cant win the game. And BTW, TAZEWELL had the rudest bunch of fans. Cool display of the fans outside the stadium flipping our buses off also. Joke!

That's right.  RHS has a horrible history.  That's the ticket.

Take off those ugly-ass green glasses and realize what you're saying. If Richlands weren't the better them, they wouldn't have won. Plain and simple. 

First team took 21 total snaps. QBs combined for 10 pass ATTEMPTS. They ran for 381 and 8 tds. That coach did everything he could to stop the beating except take knees on every play.
 
This reminds me of the Tazewell/Richlands game a few years back when the 3rd stringers and a few JV players were scoring on Tazewell. Eventually it's on the players to stop someone.

That's funny.  Richlands would have beaten Lord Botetourt if they hadn't scored so many touchdowns. 
 
Look, turnovers are part of the game.  The defense has a lot to do with turnovers, so do us all a favor and show some class.  Tazewell got beat.  Richlands was the better team.  Suck it up.
