I can't believe it. I actually saw decent fans at a football game. Unbelievable. The VT fans were actually able to have a noticeable "Let's Go Hokies" chant before the game. I can honestly say I will still be a VT football fan until GT decides to fire Chan. Once we get a new coach, I will be all over some GT football. But until then, I am still a Hokie. Basketball is a different story though, mainly because Paul Hewitt is the man!

How bad is this game going to get? I personally don't think my current team has a chance, but I could care less. I am probably going to be cheering for VT.

Yeah, they are. I will let you know when I know and as for the arrogant fans. The majority of students at GT aren't rude, it is just some of the Greek students. The rest of the students don't make it out of the library.

Yeah, we are pretty awful fans. We can get pretty wild once you get us out of the library. So, I agree with you there. but this: "You'd think they'd be better since they have such "high opinions" of themselves." Care to explain??

Not sure what the win over GT really means. I came up for the game and we played piss poor. Our defense can't tackle at all and Taylor Bennett is quickly approaching Reggie Ball status as QB. Even the UVA fans were shocked that they won because UVA played poorly too, GT just played worse. I am not sure what the UVA wins mean either. The loss to Wyoming??? Duke . . their status as the worst team in D1A (or whatever it's called now) is questionable UNC. .. bad team GT ...overrated BC is looking like the team to beat right now in the ACC. UVA will fall on their faces . . they always find a way to do it.

I predicted the UGA loss . . . but then agaain I predict them to lose every week. haha But this loss really surprised me. I watched the game against OK State last week and they looked so fast it was crazy.

Dang, for a while the SWD had some good golfers. What kind of scores is AHS shooting??

What is happening?? I only heard one score report before I left and I was in shock. Is it really that bad now???

Yeah, it is stupid as hell, but good you can get it if you have satellite and the sports package. Such a pain in the rear though, esp. in this area. But I am guessing if they are going to start broadcasting more games, then it will become a basic cable channel. I know I get it in Atl.

But on what I know so far . . All the students who follow GT football say this year will be very good. 17 returning starters, 8 of which are on Defense. 4 returning starters on the Offensive line, in addition to Senior TB Tashard Choice, who lead the ACC in rushing last year(if I remember correctly). GT will predominatly run the ball this year, even though they have a great QB in Junior Taylor Bennett (remember the GT - WVU game??). I don't think the loss of Calvin will be that bad. Reggie Ball could never throw the ball consistently enough to take advantage of his full potential. If I am going to take a guess, 10-2 or 9-3 and maybe and appearance in the ACC title game depending on the Tech Wars game. The biggest advantage they have is that their hardest games (in my opinion) are both at home with VT and UGA.
