Grayson is very good....but dynasty.... 1 state championship in school history for a school that absolutley puts a huge emphasis on baseball and not much on anything else

Virginia High was extremely young this year....large number of Soph and a few Fresh played. I think some of this talk is just fact JB had good year, not sure how accurate it is. This tends to happen alot nowadays.

I would say alot will depend on who the kids are as to how hard VHS would push for and official family move, I also imagine much will depend on who is next coach at VHS.

I am know hearing is was more in line with a dispute between admin. and Coach Wheeler....have a hard time with son on board and the work they have done the past 2 years he is ready to retire. Again could be wrong but seems odd to me.

Say what you want about Gretna "not that good" they had not lost a first round play-off game in quite a few years and I would venture to guess they were a first round draw most teams wanted to avoid. When was last time they had 44 scored against them....and 31 in a half?

Iin regards to Grayson game Fort was no doubt the better team.......Grayson QB only played to snaps in 2nd half, a nineteen yard completion to his brither and a fumble(injury) on next snap. Not for a moment saying this would have changed outcome but would have had an affect. QB had 3 TDs rushing and over 100 yards passing at the half.

Why have they not had JV team for the past couple of years.....seems with last two years 8th grade success they should have had a strong couple of JV teams. Is it due to fact many 9th/10th graders or playing Varsity? How about the 9th/10graders who are not staring Varsity ...what kind of playing experience are they getting. Not trying to be critical but it appers G-Men are obviously headin in right direction but find it odd no JV team. What is the scoop G-Man Thanks

My guess was Graham was off....Sat game, weather etc. I think Grayson is decent but not physical on D enough in general to be consistently good.

The administration in Grayson from the top down is absolutely clueless when it comes to football and the importance it can play in a community......with new admin. changes it doesnt seem that attitude and disregard for football will be changeing anytime soon. They will falling further behind Glax,Fort and Graham who have all upgraded facitlites and made other strong committments to football.
