I just got home and was getting ready to post the same news Ryan,  it was good news for the young man.  I was afraid that he may lose his Sr year,  he is a good young man and a good ball player.  Glad to hear he will be back !

Just heard from a friend and saw on Waldrons fathers Facebook that it's just a slight tear. He was fitted for a brace at VT today and has to go through rehab. But he will be able to return to offense at some point this season.
 
Wonderful news.

A family member of mine was laid off from the roof bolt factory in Big Rock and is about to complete "retraining", auto mechanics at the vocational school. All and all pretty much useless. 
 
The retraining should have been focused on alternative energy jobs and those type of positions should have been promoted in SWVA and Central Appalachia. To just leave the region hanging is despicable 

I'll say this and then out of respect for the wise Union fans will leave this a long.  No way do I  think Richlands is 40 points better than GC but the way your implying that is to say to compete with your team they would have to be.  So what your  saying is your team is 40 points better than GC.  Are you from Buckingham?
Can't help it.  It's great for a fan to see the inside working of their team and feel good about it, happy for all.  But those guys who talk about another team not knowing anything about them, just shows a lack of wisdom.  
 
I was so looking forward to watching Waldron this year, isn't he a junior?  White is going to be special.  Would love to see Atkinson get some touches out of the backfield haven't seen him get many touches this year but what he has was impressive.

There is no better voice than that of Ron Brown for Richlands. Something about his voice just makes football better to listen to lol.

Looks like Raven found some of that corn out there in Nebraska and shipped home.

That pic is my first look at em this year and mannnn,  they pass the look test !  It looks like a lot of cornbread and pinto beans and maybe a fried tater or 2  and a lot of time & hard work in the weight room.............. and it looks like it has paid off......big time !    Hopefully with that size and not as many playing both ways we can wear down a few teams late in the game !

The D should be as fun to watch as the offense.  Some strong and very seasoned players in that bunch. Hope that Palmer stays on the side lines, they go to another level with him in their mist.

Like 2010 I would expect to see a little of everything.  Should be hard to prepare for. I would like to see him turn that big guy lose in the Power I.
