I've heard only Graham but who knows. Also heard he hasn't been in the gym for off season workouts at BHS. If that's true, and he stays, he will see reduced playing time. Coach Simmons expects those kids to be there if they want to see playing time.

Also have heard a running back from BHS is headed across the state line.

Bill Dudley is now an assistant at Tazewell. Supposedly going to run the offense.

is the Tazewell coach supposedly going to a different coaching job or just giving it up?

BDT reports that 3 basketball wins are to be forfeited. Football will not forefit wins (which I was wrong about). School is now on probation.

According to administration they are now on probation and forfeited football Wins. Players will keep the stats they accumulated during those forfeited games. Just saying.

Bluefield is now on probation. Did forfeit wins.

My mistake.

Apparently the player in question played in 9 of the 11 games for football...all wins.

Bluefield used a ineligible player who slipped through the cracks... may have to possibly vacate most of their wins this season. Basketball team has already vacated their wins this season. Article on BDT online.

My heart says Graham will win (always does).......my head says GC by 30+. But for a young Graham team it is good to get that extra week of practice and preparation. If Graham pulls the upset fantastic!! If not, staying optimistic for next year. Go G-Men!

Lots of talent on that team. If the coaches come up with a good game plan, Union could have their hands full.

Why did they play tonight and not Friday?

Congrats to Richlands. Never expected this. Great win!

Last time Richlands and Bluefield stopped playing each other it left Bluefield with a 9 game regular season if I recall correctly. And being that Bluefield still has trouble filling their schedule year after year I imagine chances are good.

Nobody in this area can keep up with Bluefield's speed. I can see bluefield winning this one by 20+.

There is still hope for this team. One year I remember starting out 0-3 then barely beating Grundy in week 4. We went on to win regionals that year.

If the the defensive coordinator was who I heard it was going to be over the summer then could have something to do with him being in his 70s... maybe the game has passed him by.
